We stopped by this adorable Korean café for lunch and WOW, everything was absolutely delicious!
We ordered the bulgogi sandwich and the pork katsu sandwich, and both were packed with flavor and perfectly made. So fresh, so satisfying! The matcha was smooth and rich, the lemonade super refreshing, and don’t even get me started on dessert… the banana pudding and the Dubai chewy cookies were so, so yummy.
On our way out, we grabbed some croissants to go, and they were just as incredible. Flaky, buttery, and completely worth it.
This place is officially going on my favorite food spots list, even though it’s a 40-minute drive for me. Totally worth it, and I’ll absolutely be back!

I stopped by GAVI Brunch Cafe after 8pm and learned that the kitchen closes at that time, so they’re only serving drinks, cake by the slice, and bingsoo in the evening. Not a huge issue since I was mainly in the mood for something sweet, but it’s definitely something to know before you go.
I really enjoyed my Hojicha Latte — smooth, cozy, and easily the highlight of my visit.
For dessert, I tried the Yogurt Blueberry Cake Slice, which was just okay. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t really stand out or feel memorable.
Unfortunately, the bingsoo was the biggest letdown. I ordered both the Matcha Bingsoo and the Strawberry & Matcha Bingsoo, and they were disappointing. The texture and flavor leaned heavily toward tasting like shaved milk, and that’s just not how I personally like my dairy-based desserts. I was hoping for more depth — like stronger matcha flavor, and more layers of fruit and syrup to balance everything out.
Overall, I’d come back for the drinks, but I’d probably skip the bingsoo next time.

Came here right when they opened and had the most delicious bulgogi sandwich. The bread was perfectly toasted, soft but sturdy, and the bulgogi was well marinated. The egg was perfectly cooked and complemented everything very well. I honestly was surprised at just how good it was. It was a 10/10 for me.

Delicious and hearty desserts and drinks. I have no other words to explain how fantastic our experience was. We ordered strawberry and mango bingsoo and lady matcha drink. If you could see how fast my south Asian family devoured everything haha, ages 30-60 range!
The drink was so light and yummy, perfect blend of matcha and strawberries. And the bingsoo had shaved milk ice which was chef’s kiss. Absolutely loved everything about the presentation, quality, quantity and flavour of every item. I hope they open up more branches across dmv!

UPDATE: I ordered the same smoked bagel on white bread and almost choked on the fish bone. Unacceptable. See photo. It’s thin smoked salmon and should have been caught when preparing. 3 stars now down to 2.
This is the second time I have ordered from Gavi through doordash. Both times they got my order wrong. First time I ordered the smoked salmon on croissant and it came on a bagel, second time I ordered it with white bread and again it came on a bagel.
The caramel latte is good, this time I never received it- not sure if that’s doordash or gavi.

Stopped by GAVI Brunch Cafe for brunch and enjoyed it. The Kimchi Bulgogi Sandwich was delicious—great flavor and just the right amount of spice. I also tried the tiramisu latte; it was good, but not quite amazing. The wait time was a bit longer than expected, but the cozy environment made it easier to pass the time. Prices are on the medium to higher end for a cafe.
Ordering is at the counter, and the staff was friendly. Overall, a solid spot worth visiting for their creative egg sandwiches and drinks.

The Sandwiches and their drinks were amazing. Loved their Kimchi Bulgogi Sandwich. The drinks had the right amount of sweetness.
Nice to see that they have a self serve section for Pastries. Tried the chocolate cube. Not a big fan of the filling in it. Will try their other options.

I recently visited Gavi and had one of their sandwiches, and it was fantastic! The bread was fresh, the fillings were flavorful, and everything tasted high-quality and made with care. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a quick bite or relaxing with a coffee. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu. Highly recommend! ☕
