My family is from out of town and we were driving through Holly Hill looking for something to eat. On Google I saw pictures of Sequoyah’s macaroni and cheese and was immediately sold. We went inside and the lady who took our order was extremely nice and informative on the menu choices. You can tell there is so much pride in the food they serve, and everyone who was working never skipped a beat. The macaroni and cheese was very good, but the collards was probably my favorite thing. I have never had better collards than at Sequoyah’s. You can’t beat the price, quality, and friendly faces. I’m so glad we had the opportunity to stop in to eat at such a great establishment.

Whew! My soul was blessed and my taste buds were thankful for this meal. I couldn’t make it home without being tempted to taste everything. Once I got home it was over .

This place was a gem! Was running a long distance relay race through town and needed a place to get some real food. Sequoyah’s did not disappoint. The staff was great, the fried chicken was cooked perfectly and the sweet potatoes — to die for. If I ever find myself in Holly Hill again, I know where I’m eating. May even go out of the way!

Fried chicken, fried okra and steamed cabbage was a good ole southern cooked meal. Nice size portions. Definitely will try something different next time. Great selection but my stomach wouldn’t be able to try it all!

Quality home cooking with personality to match! The kitchen thought my husband’s pork chop was too small, so they sent out a second one free. Y husband could not stop raving about the black eyed peas either!

Nothing fancy, just really good food and friendly service. Very affordable home-cooked meals with a choice of meats and fresh vegetables, and save room for the red velvet cake for dessert. Staff is nice and attentive. Open Thursday through Sunday for lunch until 5:00 pm.

I came from out of state and expected to sit in decent chairs. I’m sure they received their PPP loan. They need new tables and chairs to beautify the place. The food wasn’t bad just need decent chairs.
