Freaky FAST, what Jimmy John’s slogan is….
I tried to place an order online but keep getting an error stating I had an “invalid address” which was a obnoxiously long series of numbers, after several tries I just called the store….and the problem perpetuated!
I called the store, placed my order with a young female the she said to hold, I then over heard her say to an older male, hey…WE DONT HAVE ANY DRIVERS then the voices trailed off and there was silence. She got back on the phone, took my credit card info and I quote, “IT WILL BE THERE SHORTLY”.
30MINS PASS…so much for FREAKY FAST, I called the store and asked about the status of my order and she goes, ” we had to outsource a driver and my food is on the way”. I hung up then got a text from UBER EATS, it said the ARRIVAL TIME WAS ANOTHER 30MINS, MAX WAS 1 HOUR!!!
I called back and told them to IMMEDIATELY CANCEL MY ORDER, I wasn’t waiting for another 30mins and I did not agree for a 3rd party carrier which they did not originally infor me. The young female said the manager will have to call me back and I said NO,I want my order canceled immediately then the phone was dead air…I stayed on the phone heard random background noise then after over 3mins I was DISCONNECTED!!
Needless to say I immediately called my bank to dispute the change then 50mins pass and UBER EATS was 6 mins away which I replied my delivery was canceled!!
Unfortunately Columbia Heights has the WORST service in ever restaurant or fast food place ive been too but this place takes the cake!
Buyers beware..ill never come here or order here again!

Several times I’ve ordered delivery and after 30 minutes I’d call for an update. Those times they would tell me there was no driver to deliver the sandwich. Why wouldn’t they let a customer know if they can’t complete an order. So what they were just planning on keeping my money? Last time this happened they offer to get a third party to deliver it for a delivery fee of 4.99 after my order already charged me 4.00 for delivery, so 9.99 to get my 11$ sandwich delivered.

For starters I placed an order online for me and my significant other, and I had place curbside pickup. I spent over $50 and I specifically had put no onions on all of my sandwiches unfortunately there were onions on all the sandwiches and we are highly allergic to onions. Then the customer service was trash I literally called the store to tell them that I was outside and come to find out called in this morning the person that was working last night was actually one of the managers/supervisors it was the one who told me oh you can come inside and get it. Not to mention when I pulled up in front of the store the so-called manager was leaning on the counter on the phone granted there were no customers in the store.. just very rude.

DONT COME HERE OR ON YOUR BREAK!!! How does this location have like five people working and somehow manage to make your sandwich in 15 mins even when you the only person there ???? I tried to order through DoorDash to make it “faster” walk in and pick it up but no, ended up waiting more than 30 mins??? Didn’t even get my food just walked out RIDICULOUS. I’ve been to other JJ’s location with literally 2 workers and get the sandwich done immediately.

This location has been my go-to spot for years, but I don’t think I’ll go back to a Jimmy John’s ever again. The customer service at this location is awful. The person at the register won’t communicate and always acts annoyed that you dared to order food. The best you’ll get is a stone cold glare. The bread is stale and hard, and the sandwiches are sloppily thrown together with HANDFULS of lettuce. Not worth it. Save your money.

Only person in line, waited 10 min at window for a turkey sandwich. Bread was burnt on bottom to the point of my coworker joking it sounded like I’m eating chips. Veggies all placed on outer edge of sandwich so they’re falling out and getting mayo all over my hands till I pushed them in. Really not that hard people.
How do you mess up sandwiches? Thats like having trouble making a bowl of cereal

This was my goto Jimmy Johns location up until today. As the only customer and five minutes later with no hope for my paid-for-sandwich, I drove off without it. Watching the clerk casually slicing cheese and nibbling on the scraps like it’s Mom’s kitchen only emphasized the terrible service. I’m done with this location.

I ordered the club Tuna today, when I got home and opened my sandwich I saw that there’s less meat on this sandwich than what the regular sized sandwich should have.
These sandwiches are expensive already for what you get, so I feel ripped off. I attached a photo of my sandwich next to the description for reference – I don’t need it to look the exact same but c’mon now.
-Edit: I’m updating my review after the sarcastic response by the owner. Clearly in my photo there’s barely any tuna on the sandwich. You can clearly see that for a sandwich that’s supposed to have double portions, that this was incorrectly made. I wasn’t planning on coming back to this location anyway, but the owner’s response cemented that decision. A bologna sandwich would’ve filled me up better and would’ve been a better value than what I got. The owner here should take note of why his location has lower stars than other spots, they clearly have poor management and customer service skills.

My visit to this store can be summed up with one word: Rude. Upon entering the store, I was ignored by staff. I (still not being acknowledged by staff) had to ask about my order, to which an employee shuffled through other orders that were currently being put together to come up with mine. This was all while the other employees were making snarky comments to each other (while I waited – patiently). I then asked if I could please have a few mayo packets (because they were behind the counter) and was told “it’s self serve, bro” followed by snarky comments. Needless to say, not coming back to this Jimmy Johns since this isn’t the first time that staff have been extremely rude at this location.
