Realizing the meat was raw after being served made me lose my appetite and worry about my health. This should never happen at any restaurant. I won’t be returning, and I hope management takes this seriously so no one else has to deal with something like this.
Let’s start with the pest problem. Yes actual roaches crawling on the floor, the counters, and even near the buffet line. They act like it’s normal. If you’re not careful, you might get a side of pest with your meal. And it doesn’t stop there. I heard something scurrying behind the walls, and at one point saw something dart across the kitchen. Rats. They don’t even try to hide anymore. It’s like they’re part of the staff.
The sanitation issues are another nightmare. Cross-contamination is everywhere raw meat sitting next to cooked food, the same dirty utensils being used without cleaning, employees touching everything with bare hands. One guy scratched his beard and went straight to refilling food no gloves, no hairnet. And don’t expect clean surfaces. There’s mold on the drink dispensers, a mildew stench from the bathrooms, and sticky floors that clearly haven’t been mopped in days.
The food? Some of it was visibly expired or spoiled crusty edges, cold in the center, and smelling like it had been microwaved five times. And the buffet? A joke. Trays were either empty or looked like they had been raided by vultures and left out for hours.
As for the facilities, the place is falling apart. The soda machine leaks constantly. The ice smells like mildew. Flickering lights, broken chairs, sticky tables. Even the bathrooms are horrifying, no soap, no toilet paper, urine on the floor. Like a gas station at 3 a.m. And the uniforms? Some servers looked like they hadn’t changed clothes in days. One had a dried food stain from the day before. It’s beyond nasty.
Now, let’s talk about the people. I saw a worker being singled out, harassed, and constantly ordered around while others stood around gossiping. Management stood by doing absolutely nothing or worse, watching her like a hawk, ready to yell at her for anything, while literally sitting and chatting with the servers they favored. The way they target certain employees, especially ones who don’t fit their clique, is disturbing. It’s like watching high school bullies in adult uniforms.
Customer service? Don’t expect much. Staff looked miserable, overworked, and burnt out, which is no surprise considering the toxic culture. Long waits, cold food, and if they mess up your order, they argue instead of correcting it. No apologies, no solutions just attitudes.
This is not just a restaurant it’s a health code violation waiting to be shut down and a toxic work environment that no one deserves.
