The management team also does a great job checking on tables, and it really shows that the staff enjoys working here. You see a lot of familiar faces, which says a lot in an industry known for high turnover. Thanks again for another great dinner, we’ll definitely be back soon!
For roughly the same price as a drive thru combo, I had a properly cooked steak, a loaded baked potato, and a full salad. Not a sad side salad either, an actual plate of food that feels like a meal. That alone resets the value equation.
What really stands out is the experience. The restaurant is consistently clean, and the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by multiple staff members. That kind of basic hospitality has all but vanished in fast food, yet it’s alive and well here. Service is attentive without hovering, and the food comes out quickly, perfect for a lunch break that doesn’t turn into an afternoon project.
The steak was cooked exactly as ordered, medium rare, and delivered on point–juicy, well seasoned, and clearly cooked by someone who knows what they’re doing. No microwaves pretending to be grills.
Texas Roadhouse isn’t trying to be trendy. It’s doing something better by delivering real food, real service, and real value. That’s a lunch upgrade worth making.
I don’t have anything bad to say, it’s just not going to be a memorable experience for me.
We waited for staff to clean the area, but no action was taken. When our section server approached and asked what the issue was, we politely requested that the table and floor be cleaned. In front of my entire family, she made an obvious expression of annoyance and disbelief, then walked away without offering any apology or assistance. That behavior was blatantly disrespectful and completely unprofessional.
I was then forced to go to the front counter myself to raise the issue before we were finally moved to another table. It is unbelievable that we had to experience such treatment before even beginning our meal. This was not just a cleanliness issue — it was a clear lack of basic customer service and respect.
This experience was deeply disappointing and extremely unpleasant. Serious improvements in both sanitation and staff professionalism are clearly necessary.
When I arrived, I stood at the host stand where a young female host and a busser were present, but I was not acknowledged. I had to say, “Hello, party of one,” to get assistance. As she walked me to my table, she asked how I was doing. I mentioned that a greeting upon arrival would have been appreciated. She shrugged her shoulders.
After seating me, she placed the bread basket on the table, left to get a salsa plate, and returned by throwing the plate across the table, causing it to hit the bread basket. When I asked her not to throw the plate, she raised her voice and denied doing so. I requested a manager and spoke with Devan, who said she would speak with the employee & really didn’t seem to care that much. Unfortunately, no further resolution was offered.
I do want to highlight that my server, Jacob, was great—professional, attentive, and kind. However, after the interaction at the host stand, I could not enjoy my meal and ultimately asked for it to be packaged to go.
This experience was disappointing and not reflective of the level of service I usually expect from Texas Roadhouse, especially at a place I truly enjoy dining at. I hope this feedback helps improve future guest experiences.
