Started out with coconut shrimp which came with a sweet sauce. The shrimp was awesome! Next up, we had a kid in the group so he went for a kids spaghetti with meat sauce and I’m just going to say it now, they have to make this a regular adults sized dish, it was great!
My girlfriend ordered the steak which came with some fresh potato wedges and I ordered the Alfredo pasta topped with the picanha steak which was plentiful, I had left overs.
Lastly the dessert!! We were so full but couldn’t leave without trying their signature dessert the “Cocada Cremosa” which was coconut cream topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel. It was delicious!!
The restaurant and set up was super cozy, very nice attention to details. Would highly recommend giving them a try!
Our server, Tenile, (will answer to Tenny) was hands-down one of the best servers I have ever had. She was fun, energetic, and explained the menu with so much passion and excitement, especially knowing we had never had Brazilian food before. You could feel that she truly loves what she does.
Please forgive me now for not remembering all the proper names of what we ordered, because everything was THAT good:
We started with the most divine ceviche, perfectly crispy pork-filled balls with a fruit & bacon compote (yes, bacon in a compote..life-changing). Shrimp that disappeared off the plate way too fast!
For dinner, we ordered the dinner for three, I believe it was called something like parrillada..a beautiful platter with:
Three types of meats: picanha, chicken, and another delicious cut I was too busy enjoying to memorize..LOL..perfectly cooked vegetables, the most flavorful rice and grilled bread stuffed with a fresh garlic spread that honestly deserves its own review if my Mom had a say so…
We also tried the shrimp risotto with Sicilian lemon. Coming from someone who loves lemon, let me just say: it was divine. Bright, creamy, and perfectly balanced.
For dessert, we chose Grandma’s Cake, and that’s exactly what it tasted like, something lovingly made from a cherished family recipe.
We were there celebrating our dad’s 2nd heavenly birthday, and what started as a somber day turned into one of the most memorable evenings we’ve had. The entire staff played a part in that, really & truly from the warm welcome, to the funny jokes (shoutout to the ice cream napkin holders ), to their patience with our inexperienced Brazilian palate, and even joining us in singing happy birthday to our dad. It was an unbelievable evening.
If you’re thinking about going…GO
