The steak is delicious for the price so that was surprising. They have a giant drink menu that you don’t see often so that is really fun. I got the shark attack dirty soda and it was delicious as well. I got the Mexican salad bowl and the grilled chicken had a nice seasoning as well as a grilled avocado which is different. Overall, out of all the steak house type of restaurants, this one is my favourite now just because the drink menu and the steak is better than the other places.

We were very happy with our overall experience! Our server Karli was super friendly and helpful! She was excellent—checking in on us throughout the evening! We came for a late supper and to watch game 2 of the World Series! Awesome atmosphere! Patrons cheering for the Jays along the way! The hostess and Karli even took the extra time to help us find a great table where both of us could watch the game on the big screen. We would highly recommend Jack Astor’s in Kitchener to others.

Lauren P was my server and she was amazing! 5 stars for her. She was professional, fun, and most importantly, kind. If we needed anything, she was quick to help us. The restuarant was clean and had cool decor. However, the menu could do with some more food options. Regardless, Lauren made my family’s experience here very enjoyable and we will be coming back in hopes of having her again!

Went to this location for Mother’s Day lunch. We were a group of 9. 5 kids and 4 adults. Our server was fantastic! She handled our group very well and provided appropriate recommendations. Upon leaving she told my husband he could get a free rose from the bathroom for me and free chocolates for our kids from the front. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and pleasant.
Our food was absolutely deliscious@ I ordered the chicken and shrimp bowl and boy i was glad I did. The flavor just popped in every bite. So good!!! Everyone enjoyed their meals and we had a lovely time.it was my first visit but definitely won’t be my last.

We had such a lovely experience dining here with our two little boys. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and family-friendly, which made all the difference for us as parents.
A special thank you to Jada, who truly went above and beyond. She was incredibly warm, patient, and attentive throughout our meal. What really stood out was her thoughtfulness — she brought us extra napkins without us even having to ask (which any parent of young kids knows is a lifesaver!). It’s those small, intuitive gestures that make a big difference.
Jada’s kindness and genuine friendliness made our family feel comfortable and cared for. We left with full hearts (and full bellies!) and will definitely be back.

Came in recently for a last minute dinner. We had Grace V as our server and could not be happier about the entire experience! She greeted us like regulars and was so kind in offering recommendations on the menu. Her service was thoughtful and friendly and went beyond the surface level, we talked and laughed and it contributed to such a good experience. Food was delish, came out in good timing and hot. We will be back and request Grace as our server!
