Jeffry, our server, was fantastic! He had good knowledge of the menu, which was nice because my mom has dietary allergies. Good food, plated very nicely for casual dining, and the ingredients were very fresh! My dad and I both got beer flights and my mom got a hurricane. Both were very good.

The establishment features a bar on each floor, plus a third sidewalk bar! Very cool! We sat at the upstairs bar. The blonde ponytail Bartender there was surprisingly rude to us after I asked for a menu. We quietly left for the downstairs bar. That Bartender was marginally better– he only radiated displeasure at having to be at work.
The beer made on the premises is very good. Be prepared for the $18 cost for a draught! The oyster dish was devine. You are paying for the atmosphere and location close to the paddle wheel boat dock. We did meet two wonderful staff members. Both the Oyster Bar Attendant and the sidewalk Bartender were kind and very outgoing. Atmosphere is great. Fun to look around the attractive decore from our bar seats. Live jazz, however the trio were doing a midday sound check.
We went here for drinks, based on our Gray Line New Orleans tour guides recommendation.

While waiting to meet some friends and catch the first game of the World Series this spot caught our eye.
After speaking with the host and asking if we could sit at the bar we were welcomed and sat immediately.
The place was poppin but still able to easily have a conversation which is both rare, and welcome.
The bartender was very quick and attentive to everyone’s needs and orders.
We decided on the mushroom pasta, shrimp po-boy, alligator bites a tall fall ale and mimosa.
The fall ale was perfect and the mimosa was refreshing.
The alligator bites were delicious according to my wife, the shrimp po-boy came loaded with shrimp on a bed of more shrimp but came without remoulade and was somewhat dry (be prepared to dress it up yourself).
The mushroom pasta…..
Lord have mercy!! That dish was in a category of its own, and was absolutely delicious!!! I cannot recommend that one enough.
All in all we truly enjoyed this spot and you should give them a try.

Really cool decor and a calm vibe. The Jumbalaya was delicious! I also added the Soft Shell Crab! Had the Red Stsllion beer and it was great too! Bartender was very friendly and attentive! Cheers, y’all!

We had the 5 flight and the bread pudding. The bread pudding was delicious. I quite enjoyed the range of drinks. It was great to see that they sell what looked like local art pieces on the wall. Overall, a really nice and chill atmosphere for a couple of drinks.

This establishment was BUSY, but we found room at the bar, and the bartenders are super efficient and friendly. My martini was a bit short for $22 but tasty. I got a soft shell crab poboy and it was perfectly made and well spiced. The atmosphere was upbeat and the location is within the heartbeat of NOLA.

I stumbled onto this place while seeking food, drink, and music. It did not disappoint. I had gumbo and a sazerac while enjoying live jazz. The people on both sides of my enjoyed their oysters and in-house beers. The bartender and servers were exceptionally welcoming. Love the whole vibe here!

Groovy little place right by my hotel on Decatur St. I had a couple of beers that were delicious. They pour the German style so it takes some time to build the beer up. I had a cup of gumbo that was good, but their spicy chicken sandwich was epic. I don’t know how much ended up in my beard but it was a non-trivial amount warning, though, their hot sauce isn’t the same as what many of us would usually think of as a Buffalo sauce (it’s a bit more on the sweet heat and tangy side). I spent a good bit, but I was also super hungry.

Extremely cool old brew house. Lots of history in the building and the beer. Red beans and rice with a side of chicken fingers is my new go to. Their house brewed IPA is a fantastic beer and the bartender was super friendly and knew some history of the establishment.

Wow, we were so impressed with the food & beer we tried at Crescent City! Both my friend & I had the beer flight, favorite was the Red Stallion. Tried the Red Beans & Rice, BBQ Shrimp & Grits & our appetizer was the Crawfish Bread a lovely flaky pastry! Our server was Nathaniel & he was so darn knowledgeable & had an amazing personality!! Now we are listening to an amazing jazz band! Highly recommend!!
