The best part of this place is the price for the burger meal! The burgers are very good. A better, softer bun would make these burgers outstanding. The service was also excellent. The bathrooms could use a little TLC but you don’t go to a place because of the restrooms.

Such a great burger place with great prices. Be sure to ask about their daily specials with HUGE discounts on burgers, to get the best bang w your buck. So delicious! They also have the best spread sauce. They were kind enough to give us extra sauce for our fries! I will definitely be back.

This is a burger joint you definitely don’t want to skip. First of all, the prices are amazing. A double cheeseburger with fries AND a drink for only $10. You can customize the toppings to however you want them for a tiny up charge. And I mean tiny. As in I added grilled onions, jalapeños AND bacon for only $1.75. The seating area seemed small at first but we were able to find seating immediately upon ordering. Everything is cooked to order and well worth the wait. The food was not only hot and fresh but the burger was perfectly cooked and juicy. Stop by if you like great food at a great price!

I was working next door at the new crispy cone and wanted a burger so went in and tried to order. I was in line at least 20 minutes without even being acknowledged once!! Just saying hi to a person goes a long way to make a CUSTOMER feel welcome at your place of business. I eventually left and went somewhere else to get food!! I came back a week later and there wasn’t even a line there was only a couple customers in the establishment. Same thing happened the lady working just looked up and looked back down and had a really negative attitude when I asked if they were taking orders. I eventually got my food but I do not recommend supporting this business if this is how they are going to treat the customers!! I will never return if they continue treating customers that way!! I hope they start caring a little more about the customers!! I am not writing this to ruin the business I am just bringing to light the experience I had!! I wish the business the best of luck in growing and hope you try and be a little more welcoming to customers!! Try it for yourself the burgers are pretty good!! GOD BLESS YOUR BUSINESS!!!

We had an odd experience here. We arrived about 5pm on a Thursday. The one employee working there didn’t even acknowledge us for several minutes, even though they walked right past us to shut the door.
We ordered the small burgers and fries. The food was ok. No complaints. Expensive for tiny burgers though.
Then, we had just finished the burgers and were talking while working on the fries when we were asked to leave because this one employee had to get to their other job and the owner was running late.
We complied, but were not happy about it.
It was an odd experience overall (especially the friend of the worker who kept coming in and out. I think she was trying to keep the door closed so customers wouldn’t come in but he kept leaving the door open.)

We’ve had Knockout several times in the past and although had sometimes thought it was overpriced we never had a problem with it. I placed a pickup order through DoorDash for their 6 rounder at 11:46. The estimated pickup time was 12-14 minutes. I walked in around noon to pickup my order and stood at the register until 12:18. The entire time I stood there no one acknowledged my existence. No “welcome in” or “we will be with you in just a moment” For over 18 minutes I stood there and watched the one lady lazily putting together the orders for the two other customers in the building. Absolutely no urgency or any kind of pep in her step. When she finally acknowledged me and asked what I wanted I said that I had a pickup order and was met with a short “I don’t have that” I said “oh I put it in while ago”
And tried to show her the Door Dash receipt and she snapped at me and said “I don’t have it on my end so just tell me what you want” I explained that it was just a 6 rounder and she turned around and started making it. I didn’t see her wash her hands once the whole time I was there and she proceeded to touch all of the food with her bare hands. Meanwhile there is some man who is walking in and out of the store and going behind the counter randomly and skate boarding around the sidewalk outside. Not sure if he was another employee/manager/owner or what but he was offering no help to the one employee behind the counter. Around 15 minutes after she asked what I ordered we got our food but at that time I was honestly too put off to eat it. Reflecting on this I should have asked for a refund but I’m not one to make a scene or even negatively write a review but this was above and beyond poor customer service. There are plenty of locally owned places in the village that actually care about their customers and the community. Spend your money there and don’t bother with Knockout Burger.

Great burger joint. At first I was hesitant to try it but it was very delicious. The burgers are good size and portion. The price is reasonable too. I would definitely go back.

I take the train from San Diego to Carlsbad with my son. And this is our go to spot ever time we visit.
Burgers are incredibly reasonably priced. 1000 times better than In n Out. It’s a local shop and you feel the family spirit. Adam is the owner and just reminds me of one of the bro from high school.
I highly recommend their mushroom Swiss burger. But honestly everything’s good on the menu.

We came to knockout burger at 11:10am but the door was locked. No times posted. Opened late at 11:30am. Slow service. We ordered the heavyweight combo and paid more for bacon and bbq sauce and took it to go. When we got to our hotel we saw that the bacon and bbq sauce were forgotten, the burger was burned and the fries were over cooked. Very disappointing. It was also very hot and humid in the restaurant.

Service was quite bad. We came in and the lady with the messed up teeth didn’t really seem to care. We waited 5 minutes by the counter until she decided to take our order. About 20 minutes later (on a not busy day) we finally were able to eat. She forgot about our drinks btw.
Like I mentioned beforE our burgers were surprisingly good.
The place definitely has seen better days. Needs to be cleaned and a makeover wouldn’t hurt as well.
Even though it’s not in use anymore the beverage dispenser needs to be cleaned or removed ASAP.
