I was starving, and the kids like pizza… I looked on Google for a pizza place nearby. Found this place and drove from Independence as I live near Twin Drive in, so I’m close to Liberty.
We arrived, and the boys were happy to see lots of games. The server was friendly, and we ordered quickly.
The wings arrived, and honestly, I wasn’t a big fan. Maybe they were baked or something, but I was expecting fried and crunchy. They tasted fine, but not my kind of wing. The ranch was great.
The pizza arrived, and it was incredible! I really enjoyed the crust. The server was extremely friendly, and service was top-notch.
If not for mediocre wings and there being a couple of games out of order, I’d say 5 stars.
The pizza was definitely top notch, and I’d say you should definitely grab a pizza here!

Absolutely love this hometown pizzeria. You aren’t going to find thick crust here if that’s how you roll but the thin crust is great and toppings are fantastic. The menu is full of pizzas I’ve not seen elsewhere. We just tried the spinach artichoke one and were blown away. BEST PIZZA EVER! The Italian turkey is so good too. Other places have taco pizza but the first time I ever had one was at J&S. Love the new location too. Still have the games but it’s brighter inside and more seating area.

Pretty good! We’ve been wanting to try this pizza place for quite some time! The “special” was a 1- topping large pizza for $10.99, which we ordered! In addition, a house salad that was quite small, but tasty! As an appetizer, “please” order the J&S Meatballs….. they’re OUTSTANDING! The service was okay, and the interior of the building had plentiful seating throughout! There’s also an exterior patio for extra seating! Looked like a full bar! Several news articles on the wall complimenting the owners’ achievements! Enjoy a great meal with the family or a lunch! We meet the owner, Josh, during our visit! He was extremely personable and pleasant to visit with! Extremely impressive!

Got take out here tonight for the first time. Our meat lovers pizzas and single topping both had great crust, lots of toppings, and were delicious. The chicken Margherita, however, had a crust that was super thin and hard to bite through. The toppings and sauce also didn’t go anywhere near the edge of the crust, there was about an inch of crust with nothing. See photo.
We’re assuming maybe just a bad night for consistency and might try again.

Female bartender rolled her eyes at me after I told her that the pizza dough was undercooked. She tried to use the excuse of it having too many toppings. I told her that the toppings were cooked it was just the dough that wasn’t cooked, she nodded and rolled her eyes. If she doesn’t like her job she doesn’t need to be in the food industry. I was never rude to her just wanted my dough cooked properly. I used to prepare pizzas myself and overall bad service and bland food.

We went for pizza for the first time because many people told us it is the best pizza in town. They were so right! The service was great and the pizza was amazing! So many yummy toppings and delicious cheese. We will definitely be back!

EDIT: first just don’t bother, their pizza was so bad I thought it was wrong. The owner stated they were going to reach out to me never did however upon further investigation the first pizza we got was made wrong for their standards probably had half the cheese that they normally use, that being stated the picture in the original image still looks like they flip my pizza over at some point. Now that I know though that this is just actually how their pizzas come this was probably the worst pizza place I’ve ever had next to pizza shoppe. that place tasted like actual first graders made the pizza.
It’s the basically the joke of want more fries with your ketchup but instead it’s more pizza with your cheese. And like bro cheese is greasy or at least the one they use like look at that picture. I lived down the road, that was like 8 minutes fresh and it had THAT much oil already on the box.
We drove by the other day and they either changed location or closed for good.

It looked like it half way got flipped on the box but the toppings looked like they hadn’t moved however when I say toppings I just mean a mound of cheese on top of the toppings. The first time I really like the pizza but this time around it just was a undercooked wet pizza. Feel like it’s a one time thing but wow was it bad for just that one time.
Held the pizza upright the hole time and like I said the top didn’t seem like it got flipped but the photo is still how my box looked to try to give an idea. No idea what happened.
