This was my first time visiting, and I didn’t even know there was a Michoacana here. I was pleasantly surprised by how many great options they offer.
What really stood out was the amazing customer service. The two young men were attentive, energetic, and always on the move.

Cute Halloween decorations. Nice and polite service, very helpful, and patient. The ice cream was yummy and you can try banana here and strawberry con crema.

I am beyond disgusted with my recent experience at La Michoacana. My father placed an order and after getting home, We opened the Tostilocos only to find a long black hair mixed in with cucumber stuck under other pieces of cucumber .
This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the cleanliness and hygiene standards at this location.
I truly hope that management takes sanitation seriously and addresses this issue with the employee who was working on March 14 around 2:40pm- 3 PM.
Customers should not have to worry about basic food safety when ordering from an establishment like this. Sadly one of me and my families favorite snack spots has now changed our perspective of this place ! Please handle food how you would like yours in return .

It’s quick service and good price for really good ice cream! They also have paletas, mangonadas, chamangos, fruit, snacks and drinks. I tried the strawberry cheesecake ice cream flavor.

An amazing little dessert shop with a ton of ice cream, paleta, elote, and more. Their vanilla ice cream is insane, it tastes almost like cake batter. Everything is super creamy and they have unique flavors like snickers and oreo mint. I definitely recommend coming by here and trying a few things out. The prices are also killer.

I used to visit La Michoacana a lot when I lived in the Bay Area, so I was excited to find a location near me now that I’m in San Diego. The prices were really low. However, the cashier overcharged me around $8.54 for the banana split, which was advertised to be $6.50 before tax, which would be about $7 after tax. Nonetheless, the banana split was delicious, and I loved the flavors I got which were the strawberry, Ferraro, and vanilla ice creams.
