This is the most comfy bar we’ve ever been to the bartenders were amazing and so sweet! Such a vibe! The drinks were pretty good! They make a good lemon drop! 10/10 will definitely be back again next time we come here!

Stopped by on Thanksgiving Day when we arrived at Fredericksburg. Me and my partner went up to the bar and saw no bartender. We waited for a good 10 minutes until the bar tender finally made an appearance. However, it then took him another 5 minutes to even notice us.
The only reason they’re getting 3 stars is because they were open on a holiday. Plus, the atmosphere is actually great, just wish their service would be better.

Overall experience was 10/10. Bar was in a great spot downtown. Pioneer is a bar I’d recommend to all visitors and locals. The crew was great to everyone that came in. If I could give negative stars, I would. These bartenders have absolutely no idea what they’re doing. Not only are they ignoring their new customers to hug up on old men that have been sitting at their bar for hours, but they also don’t know how to make a drink. They’re out of cranberry juice which is the most generic mixer you can have in a bar, but they also don’t know what a tall drink is. I pay $20 for a “double shot” to be given a glass of pineapple sugar water and ice. You can definitely skip this place and go to literally any other establishment in Fredericksburg.

Pioneer is an awesome bar in Fredericksburg. One of the few places that are open past midnight. They serve a wide variety of drinks and are very friendly.
The live music is good and keeps a nice vibe in the bar going. They have very nice replica pumpkins for Halloween.

Went on a girls trip this weekend and LOVED this bar!! The owner was amazing and we had so much dancing to the live music! 10/10 would recommend!
