We ordered a caramel cheesecake and peanut butter pops, both of which were very delicious. Peanut butter had a nice gooey layer of butter topped with chocolate, this was a decadent treat and definitely worth the price. Small too in terms of size able treat .
The cheesecake was firm delicious not overly sweet and had the exact texture of caramel and cheesecake together.
We ordered to go and our entire experience took less than 1-3 minutes. Great customer service and quick delivery. Clean and well maintained store!

The Homemade Club was great but the upside down cupcake was the star. I will definitely be going back.

This place is a ten mins walk from my place so took my daughter to eat Ice cream. It’s a nice place with a small pond and outside seating too. The staff is really nice . Very helpful and welcoming. We only tried the ice cream so I can’t comment about the other items. They have lots of flavors but I felt the ice creams were too sweet. My daughter will generally finish her scoop but she said it’s too sweet and only ate half. The ice cream was so sweet you can’t eat the whole thing because it gets too sweet. It could be a batch thing but I wish they reduced the sweetness a little bit so we can enjoy the whole ice cream. For the price I didn’t like throwing some of it away

My latest visit to Homemade ice cream for a sweet treat was a bust
I ordered their sweetheart cake slice, that was the most driest piece of cake I ever had.
Presentation was good, but the cake felt like days old and was cracking.
I always liked their cakes for the quality ingredients & being fresh, today’s quality wasn’t even near to being a decent one.

The service is pretty good and the food tastes good. They have only one person in the kitchen and three others on the register side so orders take a long time to prepare. I don’t love that all of their hot soups are kept in plastic bags inside the big pots. I’m sure it makes it faster/easier to clean but I’m sure plastics are leeching out into the food.
In addition, it seems like every time I get a to go order, there is something missing, or an error in what they placed into the bag. They always correct the mistake when I pointed out, but I don’t think I’ve ever gotten it to go order where there wasn’t a problem.

I really love the fast food speed, but homemade quality of the food. The French dips are delicious. I had a red velvet cake from here on my birthday that was divine. The staff are really friendly, and the dining area was clean. Highly recommend. I love the oatmeal creme cookies here. The only negative was the drip coffee. It was luke warm and kind of flavorless. They were very busy so I’m not going to ding their review for coffee.

Go for the cakes, come back again for a pie, and then return for the cookies!

It is difficult to know where to begin when you walk through the doors. The sweet scent wraps you like a hug from your Grandma or Auntie, and you’re instantly transported to another place and time.

Looking through each glass case, the cake, pie, cupcake, or cookie looks fresh out the oven – a person can tell the amount of time and love each of these delicious treats has poured into it.

Then, if you have the time, you can sit back and enjoy a nibble at one of the comfortable booths, lounge chairs or take advantage of the warm fall weather and retreat outside to the patio, and the relaxing backdrop of the pond.

The service was fantastic. My questions were answered almost before I could ask, and I welcomed suggestions from the many choices I had. Worth the trek, worth any wait there might be… enjoy the sweetness!

Tried this for the first time. Chicken salad croissants were good! So was the dessert we had strawberry cream cheese filled Danish. It was wonderful. We like it because it was all American food. Food
we knew the names of, how to pronounce and what to expect. Flavor was great.

Yum yum! Best ice cream I’ve had in Indiana! I had banana and chocolate in a chocolate sugar cone! Very relaxed atmosphere! So glad we stopped in! All the desserts look delightful! I couldn’t decide but alas ice cream is my downfall! Thank you for an amazing treat I will be back! ❤️❤️
