Maeghan and Tricia were AMAZING! They both helped me decide what to order because I’m the most indecisive person when it comes to food, and they were so patient and helpful. They gave great recommendations, and wow they did NOT miss.
The matzo ball soup was to die for and honestly worth the hour and a half drive by itself. (Don’t mind the picture, I ate first & the phone ate second) And the chicken franciase portion was huge on top of being absolutely delicious. The service made the whole experience even better. Both of them were so sweet, attentive, and just had the best energy. Definitely coming back!

I can’t leave a review based on the food since I never got to eat so my review will primarily be focused on the service and accommodation. I came with my family after my Grandmom’s funeral with 40-50 others. They were extremely accommodating for a party our size, as we were seated in a separate room which was meaningful since we didn’t feel like we were smack in the middle of the restaurant. It took 45m-1hr to receive a drink order and waters/soda, which I was partly trying to be patient about considering our party size. When the selected menu was passed out for us to start making our choices, I asked the waitress if I could put in a side order of meatballs (or something easy for the kitchen) for my 15 month old who couldn’t have anything on the menu. She began taking my order and told me the price of the side dish which I told her I would absolutely pay for. In the middle of placing the order she cut me off and told me she can’t even do this, no side orders are allowed and we would need to stick to the menu, despite the fact that other family members were ordering off-menu items for their kids. I begged and pleaded with her, I was willing to work with her on something that would be easy and manageable without making a big fuss. I even asked her if I could call and place a togo order, go pay for it, and bring it to the table. she said shes not allowed to do that and would need to consult with management. My baby was inconsolable at this point in the conversation with her and I ultimately decided to leave because they were not willing to accommodate my order. So– I didn’t get a chance to sit down for my own Grandmom’s wake/repass. I am not aware, during any of the planning, that the diner was not willing to accommodate for kids or off-menu items. If that had been the case I would have come prepared and since they have the ability to prepare such mass amounts and variety of food, I didn’t consider having to pack my own. My family reported she ignored the table where I was seated after I left, and asked another waitress to take my family’s table. I won’t be returning.

Seven Star Diner is always a reliable choice for a great meal. The food is consistently fresh and cooked to perfection. I usually order the salmon, which never disappoints, but their meats are also an excellent choice—especially when they offered the bone-in prime rib, which was outstanding. Love their Soups.
Desserts are another highlight, particularly the homemade cheesecake, which is absolutely delicious. I also love the recent upgrades they made to the room next to the bar—it looks fantastic and adds a nice, updated atmosphere to the dining experience.
Overall, Seven Star Diner continues to impress with great food, quality desserts, and a welcoming environment.

Where do I begin. Friendly staff, great service and the food is fantastic. We are bar people. Jenna is the best bartender in our area. Always smiling and she makes a killer cocktail. If you’re hungry try the oysters Rockefeller (yes at a diner), and the roasted chicken. Also try the chicken quesadilla, calamari and ribs on the happy hour menu. All are a bargain. You won’t be disappointed

7 Star Diner deserves zero stars. This place used to be great back when it was 5 Points, but my first visit in years was beyond disappointing.
We ordered easy “safe” choices—chicken fingers and fries—but they were undercooked and clearly freezer-burned. Both the kids’ and adult portions were BAD. The corned beef sandwich was just dry bread and plain meat, no coleslaw or dressing unless you asked (and then the server argued about it).
The bill came to $80 plus a $20 tip—for four people, poor service, and absolutely awful food. Never again.
