LOVE it! Over 10 years since my last visit and was surprised to receive such a warm welcome from the owner. I use to frequent this restaurant for lunch and always loved the salads, soups and pasta dishes. Decided to visit again for lunch since my company department relocated. The service was still excellent and the food remains delicious. Big portions…so you can share or take leftovers.

We used to love this place more than we do now. We dont go as often as we did. Don’t know if we changed or if they have. The food is about the same. It can be hit or miss. The portions are always generous. But the service is also hit or miss. The last time we were there, we waited and waited for our server and she admitted she forgot about us. We were sitting in the middle of the restaurant.
I think it’s just no longer our style. I think we prefer more casual dining and this is more supper club. It’s not bad. I really think we’re the ones who no longer fit.

Very good food and cocktails. Excellent service and parking. The venue is slightly dark and there are no windows to the outdoors. They have plenty of room for large groups. There also is a small brighter seating area across the hall for a different feel.

When I first walked in to the building I was a bit skeptical at first. It feels like you are walking into a store more then a restaurant. The decor is nothing to write home about, but boy is the food good!
I’ve been here about twice in the last month or so and can’t wait to go back to try something different. I’ve been here a total of 4 times and each time was a great experience.

My wife and I were in the area for a memorial service and after we looked on Google for a place to eat. Luckily Basilico was recommended. Our server was awesome. She has worked here for 35 years and when we told her we were going to be celebrating 35 years of marriage she went above and beyond to make our meal memorable. The food was excellent and good portions. She gave us a wonderful dessert of tiramisu and personalized the dish with our names. The owner cam by several time to make certain we were happy. We will be back. A family owned business that has been around for 50 years is hard to find out in the far west burbs of Carol Stream

I had a wonderful evening, and an even better meal. The food was fantastic, the desserts were outstanding! The staff was very gracious. We were allowed to stay until almost closing, even though we failed to make reservations. Next time I’ll be sure to make reservations.

Love Basilico! Food portions are huge, service is wonderful & the atmosphere is great. They actually have stuffed artichoke, one of the few restaurants that still do. The menu selection is great & if you don’t see it just ask, they’re all over custom orders. It’s deceiving from the outside but worth it.
They also have a nice banquet hall we’ve use for parties and everyone raves about the food.

The food was pretty good,but the way we were taken care of was special. I had the lasagne and my wife had the salmon. We had just walked out of another restaurant on our anniversary because of no service and came here. Right away we were taken care of. The waitress was super nice and helpful. The owners came to the table to wish us happy anniversary and gave us free of charge some delicious taramasu cake. Thanks for saving our evening. They treat you like family here.

Visiting from Dallas and wanted authentic Italian food w/ decent prices. This place is awesome!! Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive wait staff, and the food is outstanding! I highly recommend this restaurant. My family and I will be back when we visit next year! Basilica Ristorante rocks!

The food was awesome. The service was prompt and gentle. The lasagna there is one of the best I ever had. The Calamari Friti are awesome, a must-try. Use the Yelp coupon to have a free appetizer in your first visit.
