That said the ambiance and service helped balance the experience. The staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere had a welcoming charm with subtle hints of Indian culture throughout. It’s clear the restaurant is trying to create a warm and authentic dining environment. Though the thali didn’t quite hit the mark for me I believe this place has the potential to impress with other dishes. I’ve heard good things about their othet items so I will return and explore more of the menu.
Positives:
✔️ The restaurant serves vegetarian food, which is great for those looking for a pure veg dining experience.
✔️ The daal was flavorful and well-prepared.
✔️ Cabbage poriyal was a standout dish with a homely taste.
✔️ They offer a buffet at dinner, which is a convenient option for variety.
Areas for Improvement:
❌ The buffet trays were not properly managed, and at times, serving spoons were missing, making it inconvenient.
❌ The food containers were fully covered, which is understandable for hygiene but also made access a bit difficult.
❌ I noticed a possible housefly, which raised slight concerns about cleanliness.
❌ The paneer butter masala was overly sweet, which might not suit everyone’s taste.
❌ Dinnerware quality could be improved, as it didn’t match the overall expectations.
❌ The rice items were average, and the selection was limited to just 4-5 solid dishes.
❌ Seating space is quite limited, which can make it uncomfortable during peak hours.
Overall, while the food quality was decent, especially for vegetarian options, the service and buffet management could be better. With a few improvements in cleanliness, organization, and menu balance, this place could offer a much better dining experience.
Would I return? Maybe, but with some expectations adjusted.
The Baby Corn Manchurian was a standout, freshly prepared and full of flavor. Another pleasant surprise was the Broccoli Malai starter — I honestly didn’t expect it to be that good, but it was creamy, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked.
On top of all that, the buffet is very reasonably priced for the quality and variety offered. Definitely a place worth visiting again!
Several veg options including with dosa type (Podi, masala, plain).
Clean place and Friendly staff.
Balaji the manager is so helpful and friendly!
They also have a live dosa counter featuring multiple dosa varieties, which was a highlight. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well presented. The service was excellent, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our visit.
I would highly recommend this place to vegetarian food lovers, and I will definitely be returning in the future.
The South Indian dishes were fantastic. The dosa and idli were particularly amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
The tomato rasam was a highlight. It was wonderfully spiced and comforting.
All the desserts were delicious. They had a great variety, and each one was a treat.
The service was top-notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed.
I highly recommend giving their food a try!
There could be more items in the sweets and rice sections. Overall, it’s a good vegetarian place to enjoy healthy food.
It was $15.99 on Friday lunchtime when we went which is a pretty good price. They do offer dosas made to order. The crunchy puffs and other fried veggies stood out to me. The fruit custard was delicious and same with the other desserts that I haven’t had before. Definitely worth checking out.
