I frequent this bar for punk shows, at first glance you may think this place is an unsafe, dirty, dingy bar but when you get into it you’ll find a welcoming community. I’ve spoken with rich, the owner, and he said that he tries to make this a safe place for everyone and wants to make sure women feel safe to be here. I’ve gone to other bars in the area that look clean and fancy and felt uneasy with the people (like they wanted to start an issue), but here you’ll find geniune people who care about eachother. The food is also pretty damn good. Definetly worth coming to if you see a local show or event happening.

I was just here a few days ago for the Halloween Party with a live band on Friday night. The bartenders were friendly, I ordered hot wings that were tasty and just the right amount of spicy, and I really enjoyed the people and the atmosphere overall. I will definitely go back.

I love this place for karaoke and shows. It’s definitely the place to be in Altoona for good entertainment. I personally love the food especially the Mac and Cheese. I’ve talked to the owner before and I like his style to use tzatziki over mayo on some sandwiches.

We love this place! It is just the perfect size to be able to feel like you’re mingling with the stars! Great food, drinks, prices, and entertainment! Hell I even got to have a quick conversation with the lead singer of one of my favorite bands!
