We absolutely LOVE Somtum! It’s hands down the best Thai food we’ve had. We order it whenever we have friends or family in town, and it always hits the spot.
The flavors are on point, the portions are perfect, and the staff is always so kind and professional.

This place is so good! We tried several items on the menu and they were all excellent. Our daughter is especially a big fan of the fried rice and our son loved the coconut soup. The service was excellent as well. Highly recommend!

Really good Thai food! I’ve had their dumplings (freshly cooked), egg rolls, yellow curry with chicken, chicken fried rice, and pad Thai with beef, and I have enjoyed every single one! You can add spice to your entrees as well, which is a plus for me. I always go with a level 8 spice (1-10).
I’ve only been able to do take out, and sometimes it’s a long wait time, but I think it’s usually because we get their dumplings, and it may take more time to make. The portions are pretty large, and we are able to save half of our entrees to eat another day, which makes the price that much better. This is my wife’s favorite Thai place by far.

Not a lot of seating but there was only 4 of us. The person running the front was very patient and answered all our questions and really helped us find the meals we’d want. Everything was delicious from the pot stickers to the shrimp wraps to the noodle dishes. The Pad Kee Mao was so good but I love spicy foods. Will be back!

Once you see the portions, there’s no way this can be considered a two $$. It’s a great deal for the quantity of food you get. You will have leftovers for another full meal. More importantly, the food is legit. It’s authentic and delicious. I wish they were closer to where I live. Those who live in Eagle Mountain are lucky duckies. We didn’t get to try the curry yet but both soups, the pad thai and the fried rice were yummy. My kids ate up all the egg rolls and dumplings so I didn’t get to even try those. Great new family run business. I recommend giving them a try if you haven’t been. Ps. I know some have said there’s a long wait but we came in a party of 13, there were others in the restaurant at high noon, and the food came out quickly. Maybe it was growing pains at the beginning.

If you love Southeast Asian food, Somtum is the jackpot! We ordered sticky rice and papaya salad, phat Thai, and mango coconut sticky rice for dessert. Wow! It was so good and fresh. It all tasted as good as it looks!

4 years later… still as good as ever!! Please support local businesses. There are so many chains out in Eagle Mountain now that are packed full of drive-through‘s and junk food. This is made fresh to order. It is some of the best Thai food I’ve had. Support local GREAT food!!!

We are regulars here. Even though it’s close and Eagle Mountain doesn’t have a ton of options we would choose to come here even if it meant a much longer drive! You can get at least 2 meals out of each dish and they are always fresh, tasty, and authentic. Great value, great taste, great service. 5 out of 5.

Loved trying this place out! Super yummy food. My fav was the pineapple curry and the mango sticky rice with ice cream. staff was friendly and explained what was in the different dishes well. Mostly take out orders going through vs Dine in I think because of limited seating. There was no drink options here, maybe because they had a machine break idk but other than that it was a pleasant experience. Will be eating here again.

Terrible food. My meal was supposed to have fried rice noodles. There was not a single noodle. It was overcooked rice slime mush.

We stopped by to try a new restaurant in the area. 3 of us had 3 different curry dishes. They were absolutely amazing.
For the bad the pad thai was probably one of the worst things I’ve eaten in my life. It was so over sweet with some other off tasting flavor. You really couldn’t get past the overly sweet tasting pad thai.
Finally, be prepared to wait for your food to come out of the kitchen. When it does come out , with exception to the pad thai, everything was so hot and fresh. We’ll definitely will be back for the curry
