While in the Henrico area for business meetings a small group of us met here to have breakfast while meeting to discuss our upcoming meeting. We got there around 9:20AM on a weekday, before it got busy, because while we were there, it started to fill up. Dawn was our server and she was great! Very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. She did a great job taking care of us too!!
The menu is the typical Silve Diner menu, loaded with tasty brunch items, as well as a nice selection of healthy options too… all made from fresh, local ingredients. Coffee was very very nice here, so was the orange juice!
The food I got was all amazing! Their corned beef hash breakfast was very tasty and so was the biscuit that came with it. Definitely another very nice visit to a Silver Diner!

My family and I have passed by Silver Diner many times, and have always wanted to check it out. So we went there for lunch yesterday (01/11/26) after Sunday Mass.
The exterior, interior, and atmosphere both invoke that classic American diner aesthetic. It makes you feel like you were transported back in time. Even the booths have a table side jukebox to complete the look!
We ordered the Local Burrata Bruschetta as an appetizer, my parents shared a Kickin’ Corn and Crab Chowder and Crabe Cake Melt w/ Lobster Au Jus, and I ordered the Kickin’ Short Rib Burger.
* The burrata appetizer was fantastic. The cheese was soft and creamy, the tomatoes were super sweet – tossed in pesto and hot honey, with pine nuts for crunch. The bread was toasted just right.
* The crab cake melt was delightful, and so was the crab-corn chowder. The chowder had a good amount of heat, it wasn’t overpowering. The au jus isn’t your typical au jus, it’s more cream based, but just as good. The coleslaw was nice as well.
* The short rib burger was amazing, everything about it was scrumptious. The burger itself was already delicious, but adding the chunks of short rib made it even more delectable. I ordered mine pink with requested extra onion straws, 10/10 would recommend.
Shoutout to our server Christine. She was very attentive and polite, and her warm, bubbly personality made our experience that much better.

I have been to this silver diner location 4 times now. Unbelievably good food and service. Love the vibe. It is more expensive then a normal diner but it’s well worth it each time. The Nutella milkshake is my favorite!! Will be returning soon

Great Atmosphere & Service at Silver Diner
I had a nice visit to the Silver Diner. The atmosphere was great, and the service was even better. Our server, Erick, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and on top of everything.
I ordered the fish and chips. The flavor was really good, but the fish was unfortunately overcooked. Still, the overall experience was positive thanks to the great vibes and excellent service.
I’d definitely give them another try!

BY FAR the best restaurant experience I’ve had for years!!! The food was incredible, and they have just about anything you could ask for. Just go. You won’t regret it. Aliza was our server, and she was fantastic. Also met Nicholas, who was great too.

Food was great! Service was phenomenal! Price was expensive. I’m pretty sure this is due to the overhead they have. Nevertheless, I got what I paid for. I loved the experience and the food I had. Please take into consideration how much money it is to run a business like this. I was told all of their food products come from local farmers. Those farmers have to be paid, too. I don’t want to even imagine what their land lease is next to a major road, by 3 or 4 hotels, just outside of Virginia’s capital city. Hands down, I can’t wait to come here again.

Classic silver diner experience. Got the meatloaf entree and tasted great. Subbed for asparagus. Meatloaf was great typical diner meatloaf. The ceaser salad I got before was eh. Had tomato’s on it which was odd but was good enough. Service was mediocre . A bounty of staff present but distracted doing other things (talking, joking, etc.)

The food at this restaurant feels more like a gourmet restaurant than just your average every day diner. Very thoughtful options for any eating type, including vegetarians and vegans. The atmosphere is really cool, but the service is probably the Lynch pin. Always great, always friendly and just a reliable place to come no matter what mood you’re in.
