I’ve been going here for years now, one of my favorite places in Woodbridge you cannot go wrong with chicken kabob balance with rice salad and the sauces are the best hands down!!!

Delicious, flavorful kabobs with fresh naan and rice. Friendly service and great value. We didn’t like the meat in the gyro—it was too dry. Still, a must-try for Afghan cuisine lovers!

I ordered a ground beef platter, which was so so so good. The old man working there was very friendly towards me, but I might have been charged extra on accident because I was charged $16 when it was supposed to be $14. The kebab was the best I’ve eaten, I loved it so much. The naan was nice too, but I don’t have anything to say about the chickpeas because I didn’t try them. I was pretty shocked reading the reviews because my experience was very nice. I totally recommend

The food is absolutely excellent—simple but exquisitely executed. The owner is quiet at first, but he is very kind and welcoming. You can tell that this restaurant is a labor of love. I really enjoyed eating here and will be back.

My first time eating here, I was really skeptical because of a low rating. I am so happy I came in to give it a try!! Gyro is huge and super delicious! Chicken and lamb kabob were tender, juicy and amazingly good. My boyfriend is a Mediterranean food lover, he said it was best kabob and gyro he ever had! I’ve read previous reviews and some said the owner was good, well, this place has a new owner now and he puts his heart and soul into this food. He cooked everything in front of me himself and was very nice to talk to. The hours of operation were wrong and corrected now, they open at 11 every day and 12 on Sunday. I also posted their new menu, the old menu has different prices. It’s not the first amazing place with bad rating, if you’ve been here and liked the food, rate it! Let’s help our community! And I understand that rudeness sometimes can spoil your mood but please take the food taste into account as well when rating. And, hopefully, no more bad customer service since the owner changed!

I haven’t been in two years due to really bad customer service. Owner was not accommodating at all and visibly annoyed. I called today to ask if they sell chicken skewers and what the price was. It’s $8.99. I mentioned that the online menu image shows $6.99. He hung up on me. I was willing to pay $8.99. Now I’m never returning. My parents stopped going as well due to bad service.

Well……I’ve changed my mind and give it a 5 star. The food is delicious and not as expensive as other places like this one.
The chickpeas are the best, the best!
You just have to know how to handle the guy, he is from another country so I had to adjust to the way how he mean things and not perceive it as “mean”, just how he is…..I don’t smile either, so we just get along and straight to the point.
Be nice to him, he’ll be nice to you. My phone order was ready by the time I got there and everything as I ordered it. Perfect!

Avoid at all costs. Rice was blend, bread was under-cooked. Chick peas seemed like a bath of oil. Chicken was not the greatest, which hardly had any flavor. I ended up not eating 1/2 of the rice, 3/4 of the bread, and the chick peas. Sauces were terrible. The only good thing was the tossed salad the Coke bottle.

On our way back from DC, we stumbled upon this Afghan restaurant. We walked in around lunchtime and the place was empty at first then slowly started to fill up.

We were very glad we decided to go in for lunch. Afghan Grill Kabob is very casual, laid-back atmosphere was just what we needed.

We enjoyed the food. I had the Lamb Kabob with a side of chickpeas and Naan with mango nectar.

The food is prepared right in the front. So, it does take a little while before getting your meal. But I do appreciate the freshness of my meal. You get a significantly large portion for the price that you pay.

As mentioned, you’re getting a very fresh, deliciously spiced, and overall very good meal. Afghan Grill Kabob has my recommendations and we will be back.
