Shake Shack is great for dine-in or takeout. It’s a bit pricey, but the hospitality was top-tier. Jenna, the general manager, was so kind and full of energy. She let us know there would be a wait, took a moment to talk with us, and shared details about a contest and the brand’s international background. That level of care made the experience memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

I’ve had shake shack in other states and it was amazing I don’t mind paying for good food. However this is the 2nd time I’ve had a bad experience with my food at this location. My chicken sandwich was so dry it tasted like cardboard. My hamburger was so overcooked and my cheese was burnt. I’m convinced that the employees must hate their jobs how can someone serve anyone should poor quality food at this price and go home and sleep at night 2 double cheeseburger and a 1 chicken sandwich over 30.00 dollars to be uneditable. I can go back 2 this one I already gave them a second shot and they blew it. Look how dry and old the chicken sandwich looks. I’ve never in my entire life been served a burger with patties you can see threw and burn cheese.

Sit-down restaurant prices for less than fast food service. Tried this place with my family of 6, including 4 kids. When we walked in, nobody greeted us; it’s a stark, cement interior with no acknowledgement of the customers who just arrived. We saw a table of touch screens at which we had to place our orders, pay , and take a number stand to a table. All together we got 5 burgers, 3 orders of fries (we opted to do some sharing), and 6 beverages for a total of $101. We waited a solid 20 minutes to be served, and our drinks did not come out before our food. There were 2 other parties of 2 and a party of 1 in the restaurant, so not exactly busy. There is also a self serve station for all napkins, straws, ketchup, etc. The food arrived on 2 small trays, burgers set in small wax paper napkins and fries in (not overflowing) paper trays. I am including pictures of my $14 burger, which was a good flavor, if greasy, but very disappointingly presented. I honestly am aghast that you don’t even get one paper plate per person. You have to set your $14+ burger on paper napkins on a table surface?!? Heck, at least at McDonald’s or Wendy’s you get your drink right away and get free refills, and the paper wrapping the burgers is big enough to unwrap into a sort of plate. And a real human being takes your order. Sheesh. If I’m going to spend that much on a burger, I’m going to go to Red Robin to get it on a pretzel or brioche bun and served on an actual plate and with endless fries and drinks that get refilled. Or heck, if you want milkshakes, go to Five Guys where at least you get free peanuts and human interaction, overflowing fries, and less pretension.
The food tasted good, but the presentation was awful and the lack of customer service (which isn’t the fault of the employees, it’s just built into the business model) is truly as non-existent as it could be. As I was eating I honestly thought “this is why people get suicidal. Even when they go out, nobody talks to them or cares”.
Soulless, expensive, and exceedingly underwhelming. Must only be trying to cater to people who consider themselves above fast food (read: affluent spots). Oh, and the post-modern pop Christmas “music” was the worst soundtrack I’d ever heard. But my husband was very pleased with the signature beer, so I’ll give credit where it’s due.
I’m a fair person, and I went in here with hungry kids who are pretty easy to please. This was astonishingly, shockingly, memorably bad.

If you ever want to know what private equity tastes like, come to this shake shack. Let me start off with the spicy cheese fries (with ranch – cant forget that cheap add on). I felt like I was transported back to the Cinnamon challenge days but with a boatload of cayenne pepper instead.
I also had to double check that I ordered the correct burger. It was the size of a slider. Half of the ingredients weren’t even inside the bun either. I didnt realize I had to partially assemble my own burger.
The size was definitely not worth what I paid but the small size might actually be a pro in this case because I actually dont feel bad about this all going to waste.

High prices for average food. I really wanted to try a shake, but eating light still took me to over $15. For that I won’t be back.

Burgers were really good minus all the grease. The spicy fries were good and so was the lemonade. All in all it wasnt horrible but, the amount of grease was a little too much.

Great service here at this location! I had a lot of questions about allergies and Jenna was so helpful and you could tell that she actually cared. Pretty rare to see nowadays especially for a fast casual restaurant. This is pretty impressive. Food was great too.

I usually don’t do reviews, but I had to take the time out of my Saturday to say that I was very impressed with the shake shack located in Westlake, Ohio the manager Jenna was a very nice positive upbeat happy spirit lady!! She was walking around the restaurant going up to tables asking guest how was their service did they need anything and you don’t see that anymore these days it makes you feel like your dollar was appreciated so I just wanna give a shout out to the manager at that location. Her name was Jenna and like I said, I usually don’t go out of my way to write reviews, but she was very upbeat positive and walking the floor greeting customers. You really don’t see that anymore these days!!

I had the avocado bacon burger and fries! The sandwich and fries were hot, fresh and delicious! The restaurant was clean!
In addition to a great lunch, I also witnessed a female employee who went above and beyond to provide an elderly family with outstanding service. Not only did she bring their food to the table, she also assisted them with napkins and utensils and provided the same service to the woman in the wheelchair. It was heartwarming!
As a caregiver to an immediate family member, this made my day!
Keep up the amazing work Shake Shack!
