I have been going here often lately. I wish I knew about it sooner. I love diners and family owned businesses. The food here is very good. I try to get something different each time I go and each time it was amazing. The service is always friendly, attentive, and pleasant. This place is always packed. You can tell a lot of the customers have been going there for years. They are only opened to 3pm, so go for breakfast or lunch. I highly recommend checking them out.

Every. Single. Time. I eat at georges, it is absolutely amazing, and thats because of our server, Cindy.
Randomly and often me and my husband go here to eat breakfast in the morning, and everytime Cindy is there to greet us with a smile. Her smile and laughter is contagious, and she always goes above and beyond for her customers.

My boyfriend and I are here visiting from North Carolina and this place was recommended by a friend who lives here in town. We came yesterday for breakfast and today for lunch. We got eggs, sausage, waffles, pancakes, and bacon yesterday. Everything was great except the waffles, I didn’t really like those. The pancakes were SO good. Today we got the spicy burger and the chicken parmesan sandwich with fries. Both sandwiches were very good, the chicken parm was fantastic! The food is priced very affordable and it is all really good. The service both days was spectacular. I see all these reviews about the poor condition of the building, and yeah it does need a lot of work, the ceiling is a sight for sore eyes but you know what? It adds to the charm of this place. I don’t even care that the building is outdated and in need of repairs. If I ever come back to this area, I will definitely come back to George’s to try more food. Thank you guys for making the food and experience something worth repeating!

I’ve had the FT w/ eggs & bacon & my husband had the same. we came back bc the Service was Excellent and the food was just as…He had the veal parm. It wasn’t the little frozen patties you usually get. The patty looked abt a 1/2 in thick w/ delicious sauce and I believe that is homemade also the veal patty was delicious and – I’m not one for spaghetti and sauce- when I tasted it it was SO GOOD I wished I had gotten it!!! Great Food, experience, atmosphere, and service!! Highly recommend ***** Definitely 5 stars all around!!!

I just love coming here. It’s been 9years since me and my love come here. We have changed so much, but this place never has- always a Nostalgic feel. A staple for us since 2016 truly a great place for a go to spot for simple talk and beverages

I’ll start by saying this review is no reflection of our waitress. She was kind, friendly, attentive and showed concern for a dairy allergy. My disappointment was in the food and the overall condition of the building. I ordered homemade corned beef hash, but it was not what I was expecting. Maybe it was homemade, but it resembled canned. The meat and potatoes were ground up like mush. The food came quick but maybe too quick because I also ordered over easy eggs and the whites were not cooked enough. My last concern was when I started looking around and noticed that the entire ceiling is covered in black mold. There were so many spots of water damage it was clear that it was all in the ventilation system.

PLEASE READ! Food was very very cheap but very good! I ordered the Cubano Sandwich which was amazing! My partner ordered the pull pork sandwich which was done amazingly and waffles . Our guest ordered omelets,strawberry crepes, Fettuccini Alfredo and a melt along with soup,salad and bread. Everything was great for the price besides the fettuccini which was rather bland. We spent about 80$ on the entire order which is very very low for how much we ordered along with drinks. This place has outstanding service ! Our waitress was fun,hip and on top of everything! Highly recommend this gem if you are on a budget and want good food!

First time here, they have a huge menu tons of stuff I’d like to try. The food was so delicious I will definitely be back. The split pea soup was awesome as was my stuffed cabbage my Dad loved his liver and onions and my kid loved his baked half chicken. The places really busy but our waitress kept up and did not disappoint. Great place, highly recommend!
