This place is popular! It’s also small and cozy. Must plan ahead!
When my party of 4 arrived for our Saturday lunch reservation, we got seated straight away.
We all ordered the fish sandwich or fish and chips, and we were all very pleased. Not only was the fish perfectly tender with a tasty, crispy breading. The fries were crispy, yet tender and perfectly seasoned.
It was weird that my neat bourbon was served in the same glass as the water, but no big deal.
I’m excited to return and explore more of the menu.

We really enjoyed our dinner and the great service at Earl’s Premier. My husband and I both ordered the cod — the portion was generous and the fish was incredibly fresh. He also had the clam chowder, which he said was the best he’s had in a long time. Our server was so thoughtful and brought us a champagne toast to celebrate our anniversary. It was such a lovely touch. We’ll definitely be back!

I’ve lived in KC most of my life and this was one of the best meals I’ve had in this city. Atmosphere feels like you are in a coastal pub and the food is some of the best seafood I’ve had anywhere, including the coasts. Executed perfectly and with incredible flavors you won’t be disappointed. Service was stellar and only added to the experience. It will be a regular in my rotation for the foreseeable future. Can you get good/fresh seafood in this city? Absolutely. It’s at Earl’s.

This place is so cute and has such a cool atmosphere. The building is fairly small but places like that are often much more enjoyable because they bring that tight cozy setting. Everything me and my boyfriend got there tasted very fresh and delicious. Everything was beautifully presented.

The light of your fine dining life lives and thrives here. The food is immaculate. The cocktails are on point, fun and exciting. But the staff? Dude. Classiest of classy, charmers till the very end while you look for that one last dish or bite to try. The enthusiasm and wholesomeness of this establishment is quenching. Cara, our server and guide, wow’d us with every moment we had with her. She clearly represents all the wonderful and impressive things this place has to offer. We loved it here and can’t wait to come back.

We were in the area and last minute decided to try Earl’s Place. We didn’t have a reservation and when we arrived at 5pm on a Thursday it was packed but we were able to secure a small table in the bar area. Love the vibe and the atmosphere. My husband and I each enjoyed a cocktail, then ordered some appetizers, the shrimp cocktail and the hush puppies. The shrimp were cooked to perfection and of a generous size! And the hush puppies, not your ordinary hush puppy! So good with the hot honey, butter and presentation. We enjoyed the quick stop here and the appetizers. We plan to go back but we will make a reservation ahead of time. We’re excited to go back to try the entrees and the fresh oysters!

I’ll be honest. We got there early and got so lucky sitting in a window booth. Saw it online and man will I tell you. It was fantastic. Drinks were delicious, vibe great, and the oysters were killer.
Main course was great. I went on a road trip up the east coast to Bar Harbor Maine and drank Guinness and ate fish and chips the whole way. This place is in my top 3 for fish and chips and Guinness pours. Absolute creamer. Fish melted in your mouth and the tartar sauce was 10/10.
Honorable mentions: crab cakes were great. And the banana pudding. So decadent and great way to round out the evening. Will be coming back

If you’re planning to visit this spot, I definitely recommend making a reservation—it gets busy fast, and for good reason. The drinks were refreshing, but the real star was the food. Every bite was spectacular, the kind of flavors that make you feel like you’re sitting at your own family table enjoying a homemade meal. Is this picture is Clam Chowder soup, and Crab Cakes.. I didn’t get the chance to take a picture of Lobster Sandwich and Fish-n- Chips, which my family had.
