I’ve frequented this pizza shop on several occasions, initially drawn in by the welcoming staff and satisfactory food quality. These positive experiences are the reason for my generous 2-star rating. However, my recent visit left much to be desired.
I placed an order for a regular pie, a specialty pie, and two side orders of meatballs. Regrettably, the regular pie arrived overcooked and lukewarm, the specialty pie was missing the requested ingredients, and the meatballs were pre-sliced and excessively salty. Despite these issues, I was charged the full amount for the order.
I arrived 25 minutes after placing the order, which was within the 20-25 minute window I had been given. Upon discovering the issues with my order, I called the shop to request a resolution. Unfortunately, I was placed on hold for several minutes and ultimately disconnected. This call was made on a busy Friday, yet I would have appreciated a callback within an hour to address the mistake.
I sincerely hope that the shop can deliver joyful experiences to other customers in the future. I may reconsider my review if my family decides to order again and the quality improves.

Albert’s Pizza in Copiague, NY. My son swears by this place! When I say which pizza place do you want tonight, 10 out of 10 times he says Alberts! Here’s why: Alberts boast what they call a square pie. (It’s actually rectangle). It has 10 pieces, cheese on the bottom, sauce on top, crust baked to a golden brown crispy texture. We never have leftovers! And they also do a square pie in other variations, like buffalo, pepperoni, sausage etc. Definitely worth trying. You’ll make it one of your go to spots! I have family members that request Alberts when they come for a visit. Thumbs up for the square pie!

The food is good but don’t ever order a delivery from them. I was told my food would be delivered by 4:20 pm which was ok because I had to leave by 5:30pm to catch a flight at the airport. When the food didn’t arrive by 4:45 I called and they told me the food was already on its way but that was a lie because I live 10 minutes from the restaurant and it still hadn’t arrived a half hour later at 5:15. I called again and they put me on hold and said it was 2 minutes away. That was also a lie because it didn’t actually arrive until 5:25 (like warm). I left the food home and went to the airport without eating. Honestly really like Albert’s food but won’t eat here for a long time on principle

Ive ordered in the past and it was hit and miss for the original alberts taste I remember..to be fair more hits than misses .. this time it was about as close to the original alberts as you can get .. definitely puts the west babylon store to shame.. as I look through reviews its also not fair to hold it too when albert pete tommy the Cruz family owned these stores those days are gone .. nothing is like it used to be ..the owner has always been nice when I’ve seen him and puts out a good square pie..

If you haven’t tried the upside-down square pizza then you’re missing out on something special. It’s unbelievable what changing the order of laying down ingredients can do to the taste. The sauce goes on top of the cheese. I like that the crust is not too thick. They have many locations so if you’re around any do yourself a favor and give them a try.

Awesome square pizza. Great tasting sauce. Haven’t had it in a few years and just bought a whole pie and tastes exactly as I remember it. Very consistent. It is a must try if you love pizza.

Order never came, when I called after sending multiple status updates via app – they said “sorry we rejected it, we’re not delivering your order” uber support said otherwise, the order was never rejected they had to call the store to verify rejection. Alberts didn’t even attempt to make it right and deliver after 1.5+ hr waiting. It’s a 2 mile, 7 minute drive.

I’ve been disappointed lately in eating this pizza. I’ve lived in Copiague all my life and the flavor in this pizza is getting inconsistent. Sometimes it’s good, but other times it’s bad. I think the main reason is overcooking the pizza, because the crust is often burnt and causes the sauce and cheese to be salty and dry. Alberts pizza used to be my favorite pizza place but now it’s just my third option. I really hope you guys read this review and try to get your pizza to taste as good as it used to be! Thanks.
