Stopped into Rock & Roast Coffee and Juice Bar located inside the Renaissance Shoals Hotel & Spa in Florence. It’s a compact setup — roughly an 18-by-15-foot space — but it’s efficiently designed and easy to access from inside the hotel.
The menu leans grab-and-go, offering juices, teas, muffins, fruit cups, and other quick breakfast-style items. It’s clearly designed with travelers and hotel guests in mind — convenient, quick, and straightforward without feeling rushed.
I ordered an Americano, and it was excellent — smooth, well-balanced, and exactly what you’d hope for when starting the day. Hannah was the barista working during my visit, and she was incredibly helpful and friendly, making the small space feel welcoming rather than transactional.
If you’re staying at the Renaissance Shoals or just passing through the area, Rock & Roast is a solid stop for a quality coffee and quick bite without having to leave the hotel.
