Excellent terrace with stunning views of the Cathedral. Great vibes and good music. I tried the Mexa burger and absolutely loved the flavor it was delicious and very satisfying. The service from the waiters was very good, and the drinks were great as well. It’s wonderful to find a place so close to the city center that isn’t a tourist trap.

This rooftop terrace bar has one of the best views in the city, overlooking the Metropolitan Cathedral and the historic center. A group of six of us went up and were seated right away, which was a pleasant surprise given how popular this area is.
I ordered two different mocktails and both were excellent. Fresh, well balanced, and only 60 pesos each, which is a great price for a rooftop spot with views like this. Several waitresses stopped by to check on us and service was attentive without being overbearing.
The views alone make this place worth visiting. You get a wide, elevated look across the rooftops, the cathedral domes, and the surrounding streets below. It is an ideal place to relax, take photos, and enjoy the atmosphere of Mexico City from above.
Great drinks, great service, and truly impressive views. I would absolutely come back here again.

We went there on a friday afternoon. There was dj music so we paid 100mx per person for entrance. The music was good and the atmosphere was better! Nice to watch sunset, the city and also the historic square. The cocktails were good and the beer was cold which is really important. I would advise to have a reservation to have better view. The food we tried was also delicious.

A wonderful escape from the crowds on the roof of this hostel. You take an elevator + flight of stairs to the roof, where drinks are good and reasonably priced given the fantastic views. I only gave 4 stars because the bartenders were blasting hard rock music, which wasn’t the vibe at all.

Amazing views!!! Great music , drinks are tasty, strong, and not watered down like other roof tops in the zocalo area. Prices are also great for what you get! I’ll definitely be back!!

One of the best sunset views in the city. Rooftop patio is gorgeous and the service is friendly and fast. Would recommend their margaritas!

Hugo our server was great. He made the difference of our experience at Terraza’s Bar. Food was ok but we weren’t here for that. Drinks were A+ and the view astonishing. Bring your scarf or a hoodie if you come during winter, it might be windy.

Terraza Catedral has good cocktails and genuinely incredible views overlooking the cathedral and historic center. I had one drink and took a few photos, which was great. However, even at 11:00p the music volume was around 85 dB, making conversation effectively impossible. What should have been a fun visit was ultimately disappointing due to how overwhelming the sound was. Maybe it’s me, but I think there are other places where you won’t feel like the music might blow you off the building. Or bring earplugs.
