I took my daughter here on Valentines day for a very special daddy daughter date. She gives it 5 stars! We loved the single pot portioned for 1 or 2 people. We got the tomato base with sliced lamb, sliced beef ribs, mushrooms and golden fried buns. The portion sizes were great and we really enjoyed making our own sauces. I made mine a bit too spicy, I was a bit heavy on the chili. For Valentines we got there around 6pm and had to wait a little over 90 minutes. It was worth the wait. We had some much fun and also beautiful memories. My daughter has already requested to come back for her birthday.

Excellent hot pot experience, they do only offer family style set ups so if you dine alone be prepared for your own big table and pot. Not the worst but it’s a lot of food for one. Next time I wish would try or have a better recommendation. Other than that the food was great, fresh and well prepared. Very filling and delicious. Their level of spice is very on par.

It was our first time trying hotpot and it was amazing! We ordered the beef tallow broth mini and the mushroom broth with the sliced pork belly, sliced beef and the shrimp. The fried potatoes were delicious and sweet…my favorite. We also loved the fried pork belly, Thai tea and the lamb skewers. Everything was amazing!! A new favorite spot for us.

This restaurant, Dazhaimen Hot Pot, has become my favorite in the Triangle area of North Carolina!
Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. We ordered the beef tallow spicy hot pot and the mushroom broth, and for appetizers we had the crispy potato cubes and the peppercorn chicken — both were excellent!
The flavors are truly authentic Chinese, and the bingfen dessert was also amazing. The beef for the hot pot was very high quality, and the vegetable platter was only $10, which is a great deal. If you’re dining as a couple, they also offer very cost-effective combo options.
Special thanks to Ms. Sarah for her warm, attentive, and enthusiastic service — it really made our experience even better!

This place is absolutely amazing and delicious. The atmosphere is so peaceful and family friendly. The waiter explained the whole menu to us and took the time to make sure we understood what exactly we were trying. That made it a great first time experience. We are coming back.

Amazing hotpot experience! The broth was flavorful, and the ingredients were super fresh. I especially loved the watermelon juice—it was so refreshing and paired perfectly with the spicy soup. Great service and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend!

They have great customer service and food was brought out promptly. The fried bread with condensed milk was delicious. I recommend getting the bone broth with your combo. There were also great options for sauces.

Everything was great about this place honestly. My friend and I chose the A Combo and it was more than enough food for the both of us. Will definitely be coming back!
Two things to be mindful of:
Weekend evenings are very popular it seems and we waited roughly 45 minutes to be seated. Barnes & Noble is next door, so if you need to kill some time, you could head that way for a bit until they contact you.
Don’t forget the sauce bar at the back of the restaurant! We weren’t informed about it when we got our food, but later figured out they had some seasonings to enhance the flavors as you like. Be sure to check it out!

Fantastic food, reasonably priced, attentive service. Everyone is very friendly, and they don’t charge for leftovers! Located in a nice spot so you can shop and then have a great bite to eat.
