We got the following:
Two Pepper Jack Burger – it was cooked to the correct temperature but I don’t know if the grill was dirty or if it was the seasoning on top, but if you look at the last photo, the burger has a ton of burnt bits that made the burger extremely unpleasant.
Firecracker Shrimp – battered and fried shrimp on a fried disc or even a puck of rice. the shrimp itself was good, but the rice was too thick and so the center was extremely bland.
Poke Nachos – these were good, I would say a tad bit too salty. we had to balance it out with the bland rice that came with the firecracker shrimp. i’d prefer more pieces of fish that are less salty than the small amount we got that was overly seasoned. I felt like I had to ration the pieces of poke vs. the number of chips that I got.
Onion Rings – these came with an assortment of dips that we appreciated. they were fried well, crispy. probably the only item we didn’t have a complaint about.
Everything came out to way past my expectations! Cheese curds were amazing, gooey, and large portion! The fish and chips, for being done in the South, tasted fantastic! Not greasy, crispy exterior and flakey interior! Cold beer, and clean counter! Prices absolutely fit the service and food! Went back a week later when I was back in ATL working.
Chain establishment or not, they YARD House absolutely is a must!
Also had a Lavender Lemon drop which was pretty good. Our initial server at the bar left and the one that took over didn’t really check in on us and added additional drinks we didn’t have.
