So I really really wanted this place to rate well because it seems like so many of these small towns across Louisiana have a diner here and there and they are all severely dropping the ball which sucks because people don’t want only fast food options. This place has the right idea, home cooking, plate lunches, exceptional staff but just the food is weak. They give you a lot but almost no seasoning. The pork roast rice and gravy lunch was insanely bland. This is Louisiana! STOP CATERING TO THE HAND FUL OF OLD PEOPLE AND CATER TO THE MASS MARKET AND SEASON YOUR FOOD! The greens were just that, greens. Rediculous. No seasoning, no smoked turkey legs or sausage, no flavor, nothing. Just greens and green juice. Take that great home cooked food y’all are doing and simply cook it like you would actually at home….with seasoning.

First time in there. Seated ourselves and waitress arrived quickly to get drink orders. Few minutes later back to get food orders. Food was hot and delicious. I recommend trying.
