Stopped by for some Chinese food…
Orange chicken
Nothing super special about this orange chicken. It was served off the hot trays behind the glass and was mildly flavored. It seemed like an average fast food orange chicken.
The combo box with kung pao chicken and beef with broccoli was next. I ordered chow main and fried rice for the sides. The chow main was served at basically just above room temperature and didn’t provide too much flavor. Not that I expected much from the sides.
The broccoli was fresh and had a nice fresh crisp bite to it. The beef had a decent and familiar flavor, yet it too had some cold spots in it.
The kung pao chicken with peanuts and celery was pretty good. Nothing extraordinary but it was warm throughout and didn’t have much spice to it. I’d give it a 2 out of 5 on the spiciness scale.
The pork soup dumplings were made to order, they took a few minutes extra to come out and that was a good sign.
Overall, average food here.. nothing terrible but nothing wow’d me either. The soup dumplings were the tastiest, probably because they were made to order. The other items might have been better if they were, too, freshly made.

Dim Sum for your road trip or daily delight. So glad I stumbled upon Szechaun Garen right off the 101 fwy in Newberry Park. To find delicious dim sum randomly was a nice delicious surprise. They have many other traditional dishes too but dim sum is hard to come by. Definitely try the pork soup dumplings you will will in heaven. Rich and flavorful and a bath in the homemade sauce makes the perfection. The owner was so warm and inviting. I received the nicest service and felt right at home. Don’t expect fancy but do expect better service and hospitality than you will find in most restaurants today. There is plentiful free and easy parking and if you are on a road trip you have a gas station with snacks right next door. Looking forward to being back soon.

We decided to stop by and try it out. We ordered off the Chinese menu, the spicy diced chicken, we also got lo mein with chicken, And the honey Walnut shrimp. I cannot tell you how delicious it was. We really thought this was better than any Chinese food we’ve had in a long time. It was quiet there as we are there at the end of the night. But they were very helpful and attentive. Love the food so much. Will be back soon

The amount of food quality you get for the price is of absurd. Seriously, the portions are massive. You have to come here. You can also get the best drink you’ve ever had from the Thai iced tea for only 3.50.

staff were so welcoming and very helpful. Food was made to order and was underpriced if you compare to the taste. Def recommend to go sit down or even just grab your food quick. I will def be returning as people like that in the marketplace deserve it.
