Ordered lunch while I was at the laundromat, the eggplant parm was so delicious, so flavorful, cheese was melted perfectly, just enough sauce. Also got some fries and those were also really good.

Came here for an impromptu date night expecting some decent Italian sandwiches and cocktails, and walked away with one of the best meals we’ve ever eaten. Every item was amazing, and came out shockingly fast. The drinks were delicious, and everything was well priced. The waiter/bartender was knowledgeable, and upon finding out we were new to the area, provided a list of recommendations for restaurants. Recommend the brussel sprouts, arancini and the cheesecake wholeheartedly.

Joli was enjoyable. The food was good, service was great. Nice setting. Some of the cocktails were not so nice. I returned one and almost returned another. Another guest did same. Might wanna scale back on the tart/bitter quotient. But all in all it was a good experience. I might come back and try the boar bolognese or the lasagna.

We should have known how this night would go when we walked in on a Sunday evening to see it near empty. I wanted to take my wife here for Valentine’s day because she loves gin, and they purport to have dozens of gin cocktail options. Yet, we got told as soon as we were seated, that the house cocktail options were unavailable because they were “moving some things around”. My wife attempted to order a gin and grapefruit drink, bertender’s discresion, while we watched the couple next to us get served a dish they didn’t order. We then got told moments later that they didn’t have grapefruit, so we asked for the closest approximation to a cocktail on their list (since it was our whole reason for the reservation). We then order our meal, and watch once again as the couple next to us received a cold dish that was intended to be served hot. We got the bread and ceasar salad we ordered… Along with a side of bread which was supposed to be a buratta! We informed the waitress of this correction right as we watched another table and back a martini which was supposed to be on the rocks. We get the pulled pork ragu we order and the pasta is way overcooked and underseasoned, while the pork is oversalted. Our buratta arrives (the second entree we ordered never came, at least it didn’t show up on the ticket either) and it too is underseasoned. My wife asks for salt and every worker there acted as if we had asked for a pork dish from a vegan restaurant. Eventually they find some for us. While eating, a dish comes to a neighboring table and the folks ask what it is. The waitress said “I don’t know, it’s what your table ordered” – in fact, it was not! It was for a table on the other side of the restaurant! All while KPop music was blasting throughout the place. We could not wait to get out of that active train wreck.

Love their updated menu and some really beautiful and delicious food came out of the kitchen. We had the meatball sandwich with bread on the side, as well as the raw oysters — Shigoku– the tasty cauliflower, and a refreshing appetizer that involves cucumbers, sliced red peppers and burrata. They had recent staff turnover so it was wonderful to meet the new bartender Nathan and I think it was Tim in the kitchen that prepared the food in such a way that it was as beautiful to look at as it was delicious to eat.
This place has more than 285 bottles of gin at last count. We enjoyed trying several on the rocks including the Etsu original as well as citrus, a new floral Hendrick’s that we had not tried before, and Garrigue, which is from an artisan distillery La Thériaque Spiriteux, based in the south of France, Montpelier, and served in Michelin star restaurants around there. Ask for by name. The ingredients for the gin are foraged and hand harvested by the two women who run the distillery during their foraging trips through the Languedoc region next to the Mediterranean.
Also, when in doubt, and you need a good gin and tonic try the Spanish. It’s beautiful.

I have never had a bad meal or service at this place!! Their Italian inspired menu is an absolute gem. Braised short ribs with risotto and Brussels sprouts are amazing. Cocktails are perfect. Do not sleep on this place!

This chic, Asian/Mexican fusion restaurant is severely underrated and deserves every bit of attention and recognition! New management has completely turned this place around into a 5 star facility, and it is not common that a place can give me 5 star service.
My expectations were exceeded.
Every dish I tried was an adventure and phenomenal, I kid you not. Ingredients I never thought would go together actually worked. My biggest favorites were: 1, corn bisque, which I will surely dream about. Served cold and unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. The blend of sweet creamy corn bisque, chili oil, a little radish and green onion…it’s the ultimate comfort food dish that pulls you in within the first bite and leaves you wanting to order 5 more after.
And 2: the charred broccolini. Wow…do not pass this one up. Even the pickiest of eaters who don’t like veggies will fall in love with this dish. The crunchy chili flakes are excellent enough to be paired with just about anything, and really compliments the char on the broccolini without it being overwhelming. A light spiciness with great flavor and adds to the delicious creamed green garlic sauce.
With a new curated menu about every month, you’re able to try different things and find new favorites. No two dishes taste alike, they each have their own unique flavors. The servers are knowledgeable with the menu items, very personable and make you feel right at home. They also have an extended amount of 200+ gin’s; if that isn’t your thing, their other drinks are just as great, including lavender or sage lemonade.
Do NOT sleep on this place! Every dish is a work of art and you can taste the love that was put into it. Thank me later, you’ll be glad you went. 😉

Bartender / waiter was friendly, charismatic, and gave us a run-down of specials, cocktails, descriptions and recommendations on the Italian fare. The chef made probably the best cheesecake, Italian eggrolls (non-dessert canolis), and Italian sliders I’ve ever had. They have a MASSIVE selection of gin, many of the options from PNW distillers, and offer gin flights.

Owner was the bartender and he was classist and racist to myself and my friends. Do not eat here, I seriously hope they go out of business. We walked in to an empty room and he tried to sit us at the bar. We said we had friends coming, an eventual 6 top who all ordered food and drinks. He took forever to take our order and then had to be reminded to make our drinks. Really weird that he “forgot” our black friends order and then acted put out when my wife reminded him. This neighborhood deserves better than a rich white guy pretending to be a restaurateur when clearly a he cares about is his gin collection.

It was our first visit, choosing items from just the sharing menu, paired with some tasty gin drinks. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious.
