We love the home cooked meals here! We live out of state, but we usually try to stop whenever we’re in town. It’s cash only, but they also have an atm if you need it. The pies were great too!

Wise’s Restaurant is a great stop. The staff were so sweet and fun and we really enjoyed them. We got the hot meatloaf sandwich (yum), a burger (which you can order a regular size not too large which is nice for someone with a smaller appetite) and a homemade peanut butter pie which was so good – an unusual silky/creamy texture and not too sweet. It was an off time so at first not so busy but as it got closer to dinner time I realized this must be THE place because it started getting busy for take out too and dine in! We’re not from the area but I would certainly try to come back if we could!

By Far one of the better laid back restaurants I’ve been to recently. Gives you a nice diner feel. Was my 1st time here & I definitely will be back. Food was great with great service! Easy 5 star review.

This is a hidden gem for sure. We are from out of town and found this awesome restaurant. Filled with local folks, that tells you something right there. We a were not disappointed with the food, service and atmosphere.

Wise’s is exactly what you would expect from a hometown diner. Food is simple and good! Waitresses are not overly nice but efficient. Prices are perfect, better than most fast food joints. Three sandwiches, two soups, a salad with tuna salad on it and a fresh brewed iced tea for $27. The soups are probably my favorite thing on the menu, always homemade and many to choose from. I have heard desserts are also homemade but have not tried any yet (not a huge fan of pie). Go check this place out! My favorite hometown diner in the area.

Took my grandparents to lunch here and we had a great time… lively environment, friendly staff, and fresh, homemade food! I got the hot ham sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy and it was delicious. Just remember to bring cash as they don’t accept cards. Definitely worth the try if you’re in the area

Wises is a local treasure! Great homemade food, the best burgers and coleslaw, but the staff is what makes it! The waitresses are fantastic, and the rest of the staff too! You feel at home when you visit Wises! ❤️

We went for the recommended burgers, and they did not disappoint! Excellent smash burgers, and very reasonably priced. Only real complaint: we asked for grilled mushrooms and onions, and grilled mushrooms and raw onions. And they were some bold onions, too. Server didn’t seem to get the problem. Well, it was close to closing, and the burger was very good, so…I’d go back again, for sure, but I might be a bit more careful when I order.

Friendly, down to earth, real people. A reasonable priced place to get breakfast lunch and dinner. Had the fish sandwich which was the small meal. Perfect for me and they have the large portion for those who have a larger appetite. It is more than enough. Fast service. Good people.Be sure to take cash. It’s cash only so no cards . I’ll be back.
