Decided to stop in for a quick breakfast on our trip, and it’s a good thing we weren’t in a hurry. We were seated promptly, and our waitress was nice. We received our drinks and placed our food order, and then the wait started. The place wasn’t super busy and our meal wasn’t big and complicated but in my opinion the wait time was a bit excessive. I’m not sure if they were short-handed in the kitchen, and this was an off day or what, but the wait was real. When we got our food it was cooked fine and we had no further complaints. I do feel like the portion size could have been a little bit more, but it wasn’t too horrible. I’m not opposed to stopping back by sometime because the staff was friendly and I enjoyed the down home atmosphere, but I will make sure that when I do, I have time to spare just in case!

The chicken fried steak was fine. Decent textured mashed potatoes n gravy. . It didn’t make me say “mmMmm!” or anything.

A taste of the community!
The food is excellent and made fresh. It does take a little bit to get to the table, but that just gives you time to chat with your neighbors.
On this particular morning, we had the breakfast burrito and the biscuits and gravy. The burrito was full of flavor and served with a really good fresh salsa. The biscuits are made fresh and fluffy. They really know what they’re doing!

Nice cozy out of the way restaurant with surprisingly good food. Just had a buger and onion rings but the meat was real not mystery meat and the onion rings while being a little on the pricey side were outstanding. Looking forward to trying something different on the next visit. Waitress was attentive and pleasant which made me feel better about leaving her a healthy tip. Will return and recommend them for anyone waiting a quiet friendly atmosphere get away

Good little cafe where you can ‘feel’ the local community vibe. The breakfast is always good, the chili is above average, and all the rest of the food I’ve tried is decent. I’ve had good service mostly, but nothing extraordinary, and I’ve seen them flatly refuse to cook a family that walked in any breakfast at the end (the last 15 minutes) of their posted breakfast hours-not good! That’s the reason I’d personally give four stars instead of five.

This was our first visit and WILL NOT BE OUR LAST!! The food was fresh and delicious. You could tell by the taste the ingredients were not store bought. I had a regular breakfast with ham and toast. My husband had the Outhouse Omelet and despite the name lol It was beyond delicious ❤ ❤ Total came to $26 a very good price for such great food. A lot less than the in town option that we have for below average food and taste. We have told all our family!!! We will be back again soon. Very soon ❤❤
