When I first got there, there was no one there to greet me. The bar tender left her post to seat myself and my daughters. After that, it still took about 10 minutes, at least, for someone to come take our order, and they were not busy. The young woman who came after awhile, was attentive from then on. The food was made nice, and hot though. The dessert, the reeses pie???? YAAAASSSS!!! ♀️Loved every scrape!!!! I will say this is the 2nd time I’ve been to this restaurant and the greetings and seating was just not up to par. They say a third time is a charm, buuuuut Idk if I want to find out.

My husband and I visited Island Wing Company in Jacksonville, FL during a quick getaway after seeing it advertised as an award-winning wing spot. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst wing experiences I’ve ever had.
The wings were soggy, lacked flavor, and the portion was disappointing — mostly drumsticks with very few flats. One order was a dry rub, and on the very first bite, I found a long hair cooked into the chicken, which completely ruined my appetite and raised serious concerns about food safety and cleanliness.
We spent over $40 for just 20 wings, and nearly all of the food went to waste. For a restaurant that claims “best wings” recognition, the quality did not come close to the hype or the price point.
I’m extremely disappointed and confused about how this location received its ratings. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for good wings.

Wyatt is the absolute best! He’s always attentive to all his tables. Treats us like we’re family. Wyatt is definitely one of the reasons we always come back time and time again. The food is outstanding the atmosphere is never dull. We come back just to see Wyatt.

This was my second time eating at Island Wing Company but my first time at Southside Blvd.
The food was delicious however the service was lacking. After being seated, it took 13 minutes for a server to address me. Once my meal came out, I realized I wasn’t given any silverware. After about 5 minutes I went to the bartender to get a fork. I was never checked on for any refills or offered dessert. Finally I proceeded to get up to go and ask for my check.
My first experience was at Fleming Island where everyone was very attentive and informative.

I just visited Island Wing Company for the first time and had an excellent experience. As someone who considers himself a bit of a wing snob, I was not disappointed at all with the quality of the meal.
My server, Mackenzie, was friendly, attentive, and made sure I was aware of all the specials. I went with the honey garlic traditional wings and fries special. One unique thing about this place is that everything is baked, they don’t fry anything and don’t even have fryers! Still, both the wings and fries came out crispy and delicious. The honey garlic sauce had the perfect balance of sweetness, garlic flavor, and a subtle heat.
The atmosphere was great too, there’s a full bar and TVs everywhere showing all kinds of sporting events. I’m pretty sure you could catch just about every game being played at any given time. I’ll most definitely be visiting again!

I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich on DoorDash earlier today and the chicken was so rubbery and looked raw. I took like 2 bites and it tasted horrible. Probably the worst chicken sandwich I’ve had. DoorDash could only refund me $5 unfortunately but I paid over $20. Disappointing, the restaurant is nice otherwise.

Out of town on business. First time here sat at the bar. Alanis, one of the managers was FANTASTIC
She was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and could tell you what was the most ordered of each category, ie Appetizers, entrees, sandwiches, burgers. She was extremely helpful, extremely welcoming and extremely friendly. Since we were first time visitors, she even offered to comp our appetizer
She kept close tabs on us to make sure everything came out okay. We had the ahi salad and buffalo chicken dip per her suggestion and it was fantastic. Will definitely be back thanks to the hospitality and flavor.

Had a well experience two nights in a row. Our servers and hospitality was out of this world. Jared is by far their best worker. Always on top of everything and ensuring our dining experience is perfect. The reason we sadly have left two stars is because not once, not twice, but three times have we ordered a drink in a glass. That clearly had lip marks and mouth marks still on the glass. Not only were the glasses dirty but the jumbo pretzel holder in some parts was turning green. This made me wounder what else is not properly clean? Is the food we ordered sanitary? Is the beer I drink going to make me sick. Overall me and my husband had good time watching all of the tvs and enjoying the half off drinks. Would love to be back but this needs to be fixed.
