We had lunch here on a Saturday. This restaurant has great decor, almost feels like an Italian restaurant you’d expect to experience in Italy. The service was 10/10. Very attentive staff. All three courses came out in a decent time, piping hot food and very tasty. The mussels were so fresh ! The calzone was amazing also. Far better than the “mainstream” Italian restaurants in town.

Enjoyed a nice meal booked at short notice on a wet Friday night in Colchester.Excellent food and friendly service. Nice authentic atmosphere. I particularly appreciated the background music of 60s Italian music. Beats all the chain faux Italian high street places. Good value too.

Went with my partner last night and it didn’t disappoint, delicious food. You can tell the chef is passionate about their craft and is made with love. Also the waiter was very charming and friendly. Will definitely be going back!

Our Pre-cinema lunch on Saturday was a delight. It’s the second time I’ve been and it was as lovely an experience as the last time and certainly worth a glowing review. Staff were super friendly. The menu was what I’d expect from a good independent Italian (I noticed the the specials board was blank, but I imagine pre-covid would have been full of interesting and specialist seasonal dishes) pizza was delicious on our previous visit and this time I had a stuffed mushroom starter, delicious lasagne with side salad and a panettone dessert recommended by the waiter washed down by a rather nice fruity Sicilian white wine. Their Coffee espresso was particularly tasty with the dessert. It’s going to be an easy recommendation and I look forward to going back again and again.

This is the best Italian restaurant I have been to in Colchester. I have visited Italy many times, and it reminds me of the typical small, family-run restaurants that are all over Italy.

The food is absolutely lovely, and very authentic. Everything is made from scratch, and you can really tell. The food is so much better than all those chain restaurants. You must try the tiramisu.

The service was friendly, and efficient. The prices are reasonable. I’m only disappointed that I’ve lived in Colchester for years without knowing about this place!

Had evening meal with wife on Friday. Firstly don’t be put off by uninspiring outside because inside you get simple italian decor with superb quality family made food , fantastic service and very reasonable prices. Nice freindly quiet place unlike most other restaurants in locality which tend to be large and very noisy. Highly recommended if you like good food, service, prices and to be able to talk and hear yourselves whilst dining. Kind regards David Churchill
