Clean atmosphere, Paz was very friendly and attentive. Food also comes out fast and super hot. Will definitely be back
I had their “Old Saigonx vermicelli lunch special with grilled pork and egg roll and it was great.
Update: I have now eaten here several times, and every time I need to get up to walk to the front if I need service. Review decreased from five stars to three stars for mediocre service.
The spring rolls were super fresh and paired with an amazing peanut sauce.
For dessert, they provide complementary crème brûlée on a spoon. The crème brûlée was delicious and the perfect amount of sweet.
Service was friendly, but our server didn’t seem very familiar with the menu and couldn’t answer many of our questions.
Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re craving pho and want something low-key and casual.
I got a brown sugar Boba milk tea it was sooooo delicious
As my appetizer, I got the fried egg rolls. It came with 4 small ones and fish sauce. They were pretty good, but I’ve had better.
I got the Old Saigon Pho, which came with brisket and steak. I always get extra bean sprouts, but I had to ask for the extra again. They don’t have the chili paste at the table so you have to ask for it too. And they give you a little bit. But my waitress was very nice about giving me extra. The broth was clear and VERY flavorful like pho should be. I loved it. But they seemed a little skimpy on the meat.
I was in the middle of eating my pho and saw a blue speck on a piece of meat in my soup. I assumed it looked like a paint chip. But it didn’t bother me that much, because things happen. And the restaurant seemed clean. The manager gave me a 15% discount on my food and gave me a complimentary creme brulee. The cream brulee was delicious, but a lil too sweet for me.
The atmosphere was ambient and quiet.
Overall I liked the place. And I would recommend it to someone looking for a great pho broth.
