First time at Barry Bagels in Avon and I’m officially hooked. As a proud foodie, I’m not sure how I’ve missed this place—especially since it’s been in Avon for 9 years! I had no idea what to expect walking in, but Hanna V made the experience top-notch. She walked me through all the ways I could customize my first-ever Barry’s Bagel and it was chef’s kiss perfection.

The shop was clean, calming, and welcoming. The variety of options is incredible—and everything is customizable to your taste. Whether you’re a classic bagel lover or want to experiment with flavors and toppings, they’ve got you covered.

I learned they also have locations in Westlake and Lakewood, and you can bet I’ll be visiting them all. A hidden gem that’s apparently not so hidden—I’ve been under a rock!

Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch, or even a working session. I’m sitting here right now getting work done with great food, good vibes, and free Wi-Fi. Win-win.

Try New Things Cleveland
I can’t even believe this place is still in business. I love bagels and trying new things, and I gave it many chances, but third time is when I stop! Every time I come in here the workers are ALWAYS nasty—guess you could say that’s the only consistent thing about this place! I have second hand embarrassment for how they treat customers. Especially going into the holidays, I hope you all remember that customers are the ones who keep the doors to your business open!

I came in for the first time today and ordered my toasted bagel to have very light cream cheese and light jelly. As I was standing there waiting for my order there was a gentleman there doing a pick up for an online order. They told him it was being worked on, but I’m not sure he heard them and he asked if the bag that was sitting in front of him and they said no yours has been worked on, the younger lady with dark hair, then proceeded to tell the customer in front of her. We already told him somebody was working on it. That was very bad customer service, and very bad for business. On top of what I overheard there cream cheese on, and the jelly was coming out the sides. An addition to me not wanting an excessive amount of cream cheese and jelly. It made it extremely hard to eat something as simple as a bagel on the go. I won’t be back.

So good! We tried this place out while on a weekend getaway to Cleveland. Workers were really nice. The bagels are SO. GOOD. We got a bacon egg and cheese on a cheddar jalapeño bagel and a plain vanilla cinnamon bagel. Prices are great the it was delicious. We will be back the next time we are in the area!

The employees are friendly. The food is really good. They have good sandwhiches. I got a bacon , egg and cheese on a bagel. The owner is really nice. I usually get my food door dashed. Love to go to this place for a simple quick bite for.breakfast or lunch.

Place was clean and food is ok. Rated so low due to price. 1 bagel and soup and 2 pops was 20$. No joke. See picture. This was 20$

My wife got me a raisin bagel today that had a whole two raisins in it. She also got a poppy seed bagel that I could have counted the poppy seeds. This happened to us the last time we were there. We will not be going back.

Barry Bagels was a pleasant surprise in the bagel chain. The bagels we nicely cooked and they definitely don’t scrimp on the cream cheese. The honey brown sugar was particularly unique and paired nicely with cinnoman swirl bagel. They serve a variety of savory bagels as well. I look forward to sampling their sandwich menu for lunch.

This is a hidden little gem. Great for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. It’s probably the first time I didn’t have to beg my son to eat. Totally would come here again!
