This was our first visit to Mama Olivo. Everything was fantastic. We will return. Alma, our server did a fantastic job. We shared a fajitas. It was fantastic. I should have taken a picture before we started eating, but we were so hungry. We forgot.

OMG: best real Mexican food in Tyler. Friendly service and great food. The owner was sweet. They made me a fried ice cream for my birthday. These fajitas 13.99. Very tender. Look at the portion of the fajita meat. This is for 1 found my new Mexican restaurant. Party of 6. All loved it too!!

I love AUTHENTIC Mexican food and a lot of Tyler’s “Mexican food” Chuy’s, Javi’s, Mercados etc.. don’t even compare to Momma Olivio’s. The food here was AMAZING and would highly recommend to anyone I know.
For an appetizer we got the bread and queso which was really good!
And for dinner Pozole and a beer with chamoy and spices on the rim which was some of the best Pozole ive ever had from a restaurant!
So not only was the food good but the service was really good as well! Our waitress was super friendly and was asking about my kids and it was over all a really good experience.
