Exceptional First Experience in Scotland – Outstanding Food & Service
As first-time visitors to Scotland, we were excited to experience the local food scene — and Burgers & Beers Grillhouse truly made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived.
The restaurant had a lively atmosphere, filled with guests clearly enjoying their meals, yet despite how busy it was, our server Zane gave us such attentive, friendly, and genuine hospitality. He took the time to explain the menu options, which was especially helpful because there was such a great selection to choose from. His recommendations and patience made our first dining experience here effortless and enjoyable.
The food was absolutely delicious — flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. You can tell care goes into both the quality and presentation.
A special thank you to Zane for taking such great care of us. His kindness and professionalism truly stood out.

Does what is says on the tin. Both the burgers and the beers were fantastic. Staff were friendly, quick and attentive. Had the man vs burger, highly recommend it, haggis fritters were a little on the oily side, but what do you expect its deep fried haggis. If you’re in Edinburgh, definitely check this place out.

Absolutely amazing experience! At first we didn’t know what to choose from the menu because everything sounded interesting. When our food was brought out I realized we should have listened to the waiter when he told us their burgers were really big. We didn’t even finish everything we ordered! But I fell in love with their onion rings. You won’t find better burgers in Edinburgh!

We loved Burgers & Beers. Very creative menu. Very good local draught beer options. Wonderfully attentive staff. Very relaxed atmosphere. Get the Tater Tots. Seriously, if you love Tater Tots, order a side of Tater Tots here! Also, my wife says they make a wonderful cup of tea, for after dinner.

This place is pretty dang lit. The buffalo wings come as whole wings and the sauce is authentic as you’d want, with a smoky undertone fit for the Islay country
The missus and I shared it all and the kitchen plated our Independence Burger beautifully set up for two people.
Our server Zayn was an absolute legend and walked us right through the menu, catering to what we were looking for.
And if you like battered food, go for at least one thing on the menu
Overall good, a bit spenny, and right by great other destinations to keep you seeing as much as possible in Edinburgh ❤️

Almost the entire menu is valid in gluten free, the staff is adorable, super kind and very attentive to our needs for gluten free.
They have a kitchen area dedicated to gluten free, different fryer so 100% safe! I recommend!!
