Five stars for restoring my faith.
I’ll be honest. My relationship with Cracker Barrel had been on shaky ground lately. The one near home had slow service and food that made me wonder if nostalgia was doing all the heavy lifting. Then we stopped at this location, and suddenly all was right in the world again.
From the moment we walked in, it was excellent service and food that actually tasted like someone cared. I ordered the country fried turkey simply because it sounded delightfully unnecessary, and somehow it was even better than expected. Crispy, tender, and paired with cranberry sauce that added just the right amount of tang. I did not know fried turkey could be upgraded, but here we are.
The fried apples were exactly what fried apples are supposed to be. Warm, sweet, and impossible to stop eating. The only hiccup was the sweet potato casserole, which had a surprise citrus note that felt like it wandered in from the wrong dish. Not terrible, just unexpected.
Service was friendly and efficient, and the overall experience felt like classic Cracker Barrel done right. As for the decor, I noticed the lighter walls that hinted at a rebrand experiment, but thankfully all the familiar Cracker Barrel treasures were still there. Peg games, signs, and general country-store chaos intact.
Bottom line, this location redeemed the brand for me. Good food, good service, and a reminder of why Cracker Barrel earned our loyalty in the first place.

Tay is an amazing server. Great attitude, beautiful smile, very cordial and great at making us comfortable. Very very good at what she does. Cook did make a small mistake by adding something i asked not to have on my entrée but fixed the issue. With the taste of the food and great service. Thank You Tay! Hope to have a return visit soon. If we get Tay again would be a Blessing! Thankful they decided to keep the image Cracker Barrel has always had. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it!! Still feel servers should get minimum wage and still get tips as a gift if people are inclined to do so, they work hard and shouldn’t depend on tips. Some people don’t believe in tipping and don’t think they should be showing appreciation for great servers. I do but servers are put in a position to be mostly depending on the mercy of people’s opinions about tipping. Do better Corporate America! Don’t cheat servers out of the Opportunity to be able to afford a decent life style on the attitude of others. Thank You for the opportunity to share my opinions.

My last experience at this location was pretty horrible (I had to wait for an hour past the time my take- out order was supposed be ready), but when I called and spoke with the manager, she reversed the charges, so I was willing to try again.
My experience this time was the reverse. I walked in 3 minutes before the appointed time and my order was there and waiting. The cashier checked it off her list and I was out the door!

Our breakfast was cold or room temperature. Only the eggs were warm, not hot. Terrible. The cashier was very nice.

The food was just ok. Not the Cracker Barrel from 10 years ago, but ok. The waitstaff was short handed and the waitress had a big irder to handle alone so my party and I had to get our food at separate times which led to some of us finishing before others. But the Cracker Barrel ambience and gift store shown through and we all enjoyed the time there!

The last time I ate at Cracker Barrel August 2025 and the food was good. I don’t know if they change chefs or the food is better during the lunch hour versus dinner hours. However, the food was not good this past weekend and we were very disappointed because we were celebrating her birthday. Maybe we will try during the lunch hour to see if the food is better.

It was 4 of us. We ordered breakfast for lunch. Two orders included biscuits and gravy. The biscuits came before the meal. Two orders included toast. The food came. We asked our server for the gravy at least three time during out meal. We finally asked another server who brought the gravy immediately. Our server’s response each time was “that it was coming.” We asked for the toast multiple times as well. The server’s response was “it was coming.” The server yelled for someone else to “grab the toast out of the toaster” and bring it to our table. Two pieces of the toast was only toasted on 1 side while the other 2 pieces were toasted on both sides. I asked for a refill of tea which was unsweet. The server brought me a new glass of sweet tea. I do not drink sweet tea. After I was able to inform the server, they brought me a new glass of unsweet tea.
At one point, I heard the server tell someone that they “had been there since 7:30.” Well, in my opinion, that is no excuse.
I was going to order chicken and dumplings to take home for dinner, but after all of this, I did not.
Thank you.

I ordered the smokehouse grilled chicken with green beans and potatoes. It came out hot, and it was delicious. My husband ordered the homestyle chicken, okra and mashed potatoes. The chicken had no seasoning, no taste and dry. The mashed potatoes were hard and clumpy. He did not eat his food.
The server, Amanda, was fantastic. She came by several times to refill our drinks and ask if we needed anything.
My niece and her boyfriend ordered eggs with cheese, but there was no cheese.
The cooks need to do better with getting orders correct.

Stopped by for lunch 03/05/2026. Waited at hostess stand for 5 minutes until someone came. When hostess arrived she was still putting on her apron. We were seated and watched much waiter/waitress confusion about who served what table. After 10 minutes, and no service, my wife and I left. I can understand waiting if restaurant was full but that was not the case here. Poorly managed!

Ordered hot tea got just a cup of hot water. The New manager under ordered so there was literally barely any choices. Everything I ordered was gone. The beans were garbage. This place is the worst. They’ve gone so down hill I don’t think they’ll ever be able to come back.
