It is really good pizza. Easy online ordering, polite staff. And the pizza is delicious. Chicago stuffed. Toppings might be a little light for the additional price. Overall a great pizza but definitely a premium price. Little seating in the building, more of a take out place.

Pizza is great, but no happy employees! The young lady who answers the phone seems annoyed with you trying to order. Picked up my order, she is worse in person! Pizza is great had for many years before they opened in elgin.

Delicious pizza in Elgin area. My first time here and we loved it. It’s more of a take out place. They do have few tables to dine in there as well. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something that’s local and not a national pizza chain.

BAD SERVICE!! I have a had white cottage several times from the Woodale location (which has excellent service and food), but the Elgin location leaves something to be desired in the area of service. After ordering the first time from Elgin the girl who answered the phone was extremely rude. She read my order back to me incorrectly, and after I alerted her of her error, she pretty much dismissed me and rushed for the credit card info. Fast forward, when I received the pizza delivery it was incorrect, so I had to call and have them remake it. I thought I would give it a second chance and order a pizza today only to find the same young, unprofessional, rude, no etiquette girl on the phone. Who was extremely short in her attitude yet again. It is service people like this that makes your business lose money. I will say that the pizza is just OK. The Elgin has no comparison to other White Cottage locations. The service when ordering over the phone is horrible. If she can’t handle taking food orders, then she’s in the wrong business. Based on other reviews, I am not the only customer to have an issue with the service of the girl who answers the phone. What does that tell you? I will not be a returning customer after this. This location needs to learn a thing or two from their other locations.

So disappointing! Long time customer, the quality was always excellent and reliable. Last night our fried calamari was overcooked, dried out, over salted and inedible. We’ve had it countless times and it was always good. The Italian beef was so heavily salted it was unbearable. Not sure if there was a new cook or why it was so bad. I called about the calamari and they wouldn’t even credit the total price for it.

We were given a pickup time and ended up waiting hours past that with no clear explanation. Every time we checked in, it felt like no one knew what was going on. Orders weren’t tracked and also so backed up. The updates were vague, and there was zero sense of urgency or accountability.
I understand places get busy, but if you can’t meet the time you promise, communicate honestly. Don’t leave customers guessing and waiting indefinitely. Extremely frustrating experience, and unfortunately not one I’d repeat or recommend.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I was so impressed with this place that I had to. I was craving a sandwich coming south on Randall and found this place through Google Maps. I called and ordered the Italian Cold Cut panini. This was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had around here. I’m from the east coast, where sandwiches are thick. White Cottage did not disappoint.

I’ve wanted to try this place for a while got tire of the other food places around there and I must say best decision ever! the food was Excellent!!. I had the calamari which was fresh tender and fried perfect. I also got a 18 inch meat lover pizza it was cheesy and meaty absolutely delicious.

While it was empty while me and my family were there it was a nice environment. The pizza was great. It was nice and hot. And came out perfect and fast for fresh made pizza. We bought a pizza and a two liter soda and it was perfectly priced. We went to get another soda and the cashier gave it to us for free. She is the best. And this whole experience was the best.
