The food is good, for the most part. The service from the bartenders is great. The pool tables kinda suck because they aren’t well maintained and most are not level. They also keep it unnecessarily hot. It’s a good, popular hang out spot. It’d be better if the owner cared enough to make the above changes.

Packed full, loud, almost naked college kids. Small selection of beverages. Karaoke weekends with squelly singers. Broken arcade machine. Long lines for the bar due to only 2 bar tenders when theres probably 40 people inside. Very limited on parking. Cops everywhere there on weekends

I recently visited Green Street Tavern, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The moment I walked in, I noticed a strong, unpleasant odor. Upon using the restroom, it became clear why. The bathroom appeared to have been backed up for weeks, with flies everywhere—both in the restroom and throughout the building. This created a highly unsanitary and uncomfortable environment.
While the service was acceptable, the owner’s attitude was a real disappointment. Instead of addressing the obvious issues, they were rude and dismissive, which only added to the negative experience.
Until they address these serious cleanliness and customer service issues, I would recommend finding another spot to dine and shoot pool. They need a health inspection.

I shoot pool a lot. So, with being said, I was not impressed with their pool tables. It looks like a kinda place where young teenagers would go to shoot pool just to have fun. I would not have a serious competitive match up there. Once I saw the tables, I immediately left. The place did look relaxing and peaceful. But I drove a long way to shoot a good game of pool. And then i saw their tables.

Kinda new to Milledgeville but you can tell Tim isn’t new to operating a bar. They tend to run out of menu items so the food is good.
As far as billiard play this is the closest thing to a pool hall available in Milledgeville at this time. And having been a longtime patron of Dodo’s that’s kinda heartbreaking. That being said Tim is quickly revamping what used to be The Fat Squirrel into a suitable place to shoot a little.

The food is very good, the employees are friendly and nice, and it is a great atmosphere. I like that they have arcade machines.

You know I work at Aubri Lanes. We just had our Christmas Party there and it was a blast. Loved it, definitely will return for some pool. But take your own stick… Lol.
