This place was awesome. We caught fish earlier in the day and our resort couldn’t prepare it for us like we planned. We got lucky because the resort would not have been able to offer the tastes or experience we had here. Our concierge called the restaurant and asked if they could prepare it and set up reservation for later that night. They obliged and the fish was taxied on ice to the restaurant for us. When we arrived they asked us how we wanted the fish prepared and offered their best suggestions. We started off with fresh ceviche from the skipjack tuna we caught and it was amazing. Then we got the seafood tray to split between 5 along side our fish. Everything was so fresh and amazing. The bonito we caught lived up to the hype around the area about it tasting the best. Fresh as it gets and they prepared it perfectly. For dessert we had hot sexy fire coffee – which was an amazing show with fire that ended with a delicious liquor coffee that tasted a lot like warm Bailey’s. I will definitely come back any time I am in PV

Great way to start my PV vacation. Dining on a fantastic lobster seafood feast sitting by open windows, great views of the mountains. Staff was quick courteous and polite (they do speak English). The bring out the raw seafood and explain what all the options and specials are. Of course we had to choose the seafood platter for 2, plus an additional jumbo lobster tail. The chili garlic butter for dipping was amazing and tasty. Not spicy either. Red snapper 5⭐, jumbo shrimp 5⭐, lobster 5⭐. Oh and don’t forget the Mariachi players.
This is a must do in PV!

Very very good seasoning! The food is really good, the service is unique! The attendants are the best! They really have a good attention and customer service, they are right there at your side asking every moment if you need something else which I really appreciate. No complaints whatsoever.

This place was recommend to us by a uber driver and it did not disappoint. The food was tasty and fresh. The service was good we did go when the lunch rush hour was happening so it was very busy but servers were still very attentive to us.

I visited Langosta Feliz in Puerto Vallarta with my wife and friends, 2 couples total, because we were searching for authentic local seafood where residents actually eat. This restaurant was recommended to us several times by taxi drivers and other “locals,” which made us feel confident giving it a try. Unfortunately, we later realized many taxi drivers appear to be in on this and may receive commission for bringing tourists there, especially since the restaurant is a bit out of the way and not somewhere most visitors would normally pass by on their own.
While we were being shown the seafood options, we were upsold a “special platter” that was not listed on the menu. We were verbally told a single price and assured it would be enough for all four of us. When the bill arrived, it was over $400 USD. Not only was the total much higher than the price we were quoted, but we were also charged for two platters instead of one. I intended to question it immediately, but my friend paid before I could address it because I was briefly distracted on a phone call.
The cost was extremely excessive compared to other seafood restaurants we visited in Puerto Vallarta. On other nights we had larger portions, better quality meals, and spent under $200 total for four people. That comparison made it clear to us that the pricing here was not competitive and felt very misleading. We left feeling taken advantage of.
I strongly encourage visitors to confirm prices in writing, ask to see menus, and review the bill carefully before paying — not just here, but anywhere in tourist areas, because situations like this can happen in many places. In our opinion, this restaurant felt like a tourist trap, and there are definitely better seafood options in the area. I would personally recommend staying away and doing a bit more research before choosing where to dine.

Very cool place set back against the mountains. If you can make reservations. We had live music and the food was definitely good!

One of the best in the city! Trust us! This is where the local families have dinner. A very authentic, very fresh seafood restaurant! We were the only tourists there and the food was spectacular! We ordered the seafood platter for 2 and the king grilled clams. It was spectacular! They have a mariachi band that play very well and are so pleasant to watch and listen to. Highly recommend this location for those that love fresh seafood. I also very much recommend the ice cream made from sweet corn and Mamey.

An actual local seafood experience that you can not find at the fancy surrounding resorts. You can taste the freshness in every bite, an array of fresh seafood options to choose from to top it off they have a fantastic mariachi band. Fantastic place! Will definitely go there every time we are in Puerto Vallarta.
