I stay at the hotel right behind a restaurant. I’m a bus driver from Virginia so I come to Cracker Barrel when I’m in town and I stay at the hotel and a waitress today. Her name was Ashley sweetest lady I’ve ever met working hard. People beside me was kind of giving her a hard time was kind of hateful, but she stayed positive and kept A wonderful smile on her face and the manager came out to and a manager was so nice. My food was awesome Ashley my waitress was amazing and everybody there was amazing. I love this Cracker Barrel and I love Alabama and I love this community.

So never been to a Cracker Barrel before. It was interesting that they were also a unique novelty and other type gift store. With unique clothing, foods, toys and all year long Christmas items. The restaurant was better priced than the store though. Again they did have many gifts that you don’t find everywhere so it might be worth spending more $. The food was good but not over the top great.

Enjoyed the Uncle Herschels bkfst staple once again. Never should have taken it off the menu. They haven’t redecorated this location as yet, but our bkfst at lunch was good. Service was very good today. It’s never going to be as good as it was in the 90’s, but our visit was much improved.

The food was delicious. The service was great. Everything was just right EXCEPT my corn bread muffins were not hot enough to melt the hard butter and they were hard. I’m not sure if they had been under a light for a while or what. The ladies helped me in the store with the ornaments. It was a lovely experience.

First time at this location. We were seated quickly and our order was taken in a timely manner. For some reason the food was not gotten to us as fast as normal and was not warm. There was an upcharge for the hashbrowns that I ordered in place of the hash brown casserole. Not sure why that happened. I hope that this is not a common issue with this location.

There are all kind of good reasons to go to A Cracker Barrel. 1) uniformity- no matter which CB you go to, the food, atmosphere, & the famous CB gift store. I say famous, because my wife enjoys shopping around the store particularly in November & December. 2) the servers, they know the customers are going to love the food, so it’s up to them to make it all fit!! My server on this visit was truly exceptional. I asked her if she could read my mind & without missing a beat, she acknowledged promptly & kept up the performance during our time there. 3) I tried something at CB that have never had at CB, that was steak!! I won’t do that again!! CB cooks like your mom. My mom never cooked steaks because we couldn’t afford steak when I was growing up. If you want steak,you go to a steak restaurant ( Texas, Longhorn, Logans, RC, etc), NOT CB! I don’t mean to be insulting & I tipped my waitress very well, but the steaks is not a CB specialty like the chicken & dumplings, their meat loaf, their large selection of tasteful vegetables, fried chicken, just not the steak. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great either! I had a desire for steak that started the night before of which I didn’t go fullfil, so i learned a lesson. Anyway you can’t go wrong with ANY CB, they are just that great!! Except with steaks. 😉

I took my mom out for lunch; I ordered the meatloaf and she had breakfast. Our waitress was really friendly and our food came out quickly. Both meals were very good. The meatloaf tasted the same as always, but the broccoli was much better than in the past. It seems they may be responding to feedback from their recent unfortunate rebranding effort. I’ll certainly be back.

Food was delicious. They have my favorite grilled chicken tenders. It was my grandkids first visit. They loved their chocolate chip pancakes and chicken fingers.
