Boar burger was like warm, ordered without salad but still arrived with rabbit food in. Prawns were nice though. Chips were chip shop style very nice chunky and tasty. Gingerbread latte was lukewarm and could not taste any ginger, maybe he ran off again?
Great layout of the establishment, great views out of the windows of the harbour. Staff were really friendly. Had a hello and goodbye. There were about 2 maybe 3 other tables in use so very quiet customer wise on my visit. Gutted didnt see Dracula, was told this was his favourite place to have a bite.

Abbey Wharf is a wonderfully welcoming spot with incredibly friendly staff who make the visit feel special from the moment you arrive.
The views are absolutely stunning—worth the trip alone—and it’s great to see access for all, including wheelchair users. We tried the new Craven cod, and it was awesome—plentiful, satisfying, and beautifully cooked. We also had the salmon, which was epic, and the burgers, which the boys loved. I wouldn’t go so far as to claim it’s the very best fish and chip shop in Whitby, but it’s definitely up there. Highly recommended, especially for that amazing view and thoughtful accessibility.

Ordered fish pie but they had sold out so had lamb kofta. It was not a kofta just a huge slab of lamb mince. Undercooked and tasteless. I never ate it and did tell the waitress who just giggled and said ow dear. A place to avoid lots of much nicer places to eat

A great place to dine by the harbour with a lively atmosphere. The food is delicious – the fish pie is especially good and highly recommended. It’s dog-friendly too, which makes it an even better spot to relax and enjoy a meal while taking in the views of Whitby.

We ate here twice on our trip to Whitby. They are dog friendly and have a good understanding and offering of gluten free dishes, both important for our party. Food was good. Plentiful. Tasty. Service was ok. More food and drink delivery than anything else, but suited us. When I did have a complaint on our first visit it was dealt with promptly, though no apology was made, a round of on the house drinks were supplied. Would recommend for a casual dining experience in Whitby.

Strongly recommend the bacon cheese burger. Chips could have been better. Might be worth it to try the skinny american fries. nice and quite ambiance

We have been here a few times, mostly good, but this time on News Years Day the food wasn’t good at all sadly, the chowder was thick and gluppy, fish pie bland !!!

Great food, Excellent views from the balcony especially during the summer months, outdoor tables available on the balcony although can be busy at peak times.
Not the cheapest for Fish & Chips in town however worth it for a nice environment to sit & relax during the meal
