Very delicious Italian restaurant in Gaslamp quarter. We went for dinner and the food was very delicious! For appetizers we shared the cheese bread and fried calamari. With an entree you get a side so I had the Ceasar salad. We also received house bread. Plenty of food you’ll leave stuffed!

For my main dish I had the pesto Alfredo pasta and it was very delicious and a large portion.

If you’re in the area I definitely recommend coming here!

I can’t get enough about that sourdough bread! It’s amazing! Looks plain, but it’s so delicious, I would go just for that bread The food tastes fresh and crisp. Will go there again.

Okay so this place was amazing! We were in San Diego for our anniversary and this place was top notch. I know people go here for the tacos and bbq but this Italian food was amazing. I had chicken fettuccine both times that we went there. The chicken was melt in your mouth and the sauce was not oily at all. My husband had lasagna the first time and was blown away. The second night he has crab and lobster ravioli and was again blown away. We also had garlic cheese bread for an appetizer and the bread was so soft and fluffy and the cheese was nice and melted. Our severs were nice and the service was great as well. I wish there was this restaurant in Nebraska because that would be my go to place.

made a reservation to attempt to avoid costly parking. getting an Uber is out of the question we are comming from Pine Valley so Uber is just out of the question. we arrive at the location early, wait time was very minimal. once we got our table the waiter was very friendly, very professional. we got our bread and our appetizers late, atleast it seemed like it took a while. we got the kids food ordered and our food, since we had lots of time to check the menu, unfortunately the menu is very small… a good thing also. it ahould mean that a small menu… should mean very good food. atleast… they should be able to perfect and make really good. The bread was very good, seems made in house. the cheese bread was also very good. They forgot our salads and the kiddos apple sauce. apple sauce also looked made in house. salads looked good. My food was ok, not great or phenomenal. I ordered the breast of chicken fettucine. the chicken was waaaay overcooked, properly seasoned but overkoocked. It felt like I was eating wood dust. the pasta was properly cooked but lacking seasoning. almost as if the pasta was boiled in unseasoned water. the mushrooms were phenomenal, probably the best of all the ingredients. the brocoli was just boiled, not seasoned or buttered. the alfredo sauce was broken. The server tried his best but seemed like he was overwhelmed. the lighting is nice for a very romantic setting. we also had the spumoni which was a huge letdown. it was just napolitan ice cream not spumoni. it was missing all the actual fruit and nuts like a traditional spumoni. overal the trip was ok, not great. a place I can say I visited and dinnned in but probably wont be comming back and cant really recomend.

We had a wonderful time at The Old Spaghetti Factory! I brought my dad to celebrate early since I work tomorrow, and everything was just perfect. Tyrone Corleone accompanied us. The food was delicious — we had generous portions, and all three of us had leftovers to enjoy again later (bonus!).

I especially loved that they still offer the Mizithra cheese and clam sauce — a childhood favorite! Prices were very reasonable for a party of three. The atmosphere was cozy and charming, from the vintage booths to the vibrant views outside.

We also really appreciated that they take reservations — it made everything so easy. Our server was kind and attentive, promptly clearing dishes and keeping everything moving smoothly.

A great place for good food, good service, and good memories. Highly recommend!

It’s a wonderful place to eat. They have great food, friendly and fun staff, and usually have fairly short wait times, even during Comic-Con. The food is reliably delicious every time, with generous portions and a small dessert included. We make it a point to come every time we are in San Diego.

This is disappointing. I ordered the kids alfredo and I can’t eat it, the noodles are undercooked, the diced chicken is extremely dry, they forgot my ice cream and didn’t give me any utensils, that is actually MY fork. I’ve never had a problem at the Phoenix location, some of the food in the Gaslamp is just inedible, mad I paid $10 for this. The people that bring the food out to you when you are ordering to go do not check the bags, so if you don’t check your bags before you leave you will have items missing. This happens to me every time, so if you don’t want to have any problems then I suggest you not come to this restaurant.

This is by far the best bang for the buck in San Diego. You are no going to find an affordable 5 stars restaurant like this in California. Everything we had was perfectly done and served in a decent time. Portions are perfect. You can’t go wrong with any of the appetizers, they are all delicious. Also, salsas and sizes with the house dressings. I will def comeback and bring my friends and family.

We waited 1.5h for the strangest-tasting meal ever. Not sure why the long wait, especially since tables (of the same size) who arrived 5-30 minutes after us were served before us.

My lobster and crab ravioli tasted like caramel, and the balsamic vinegar on my salad was sweet. My coworker’s lasagna had thick, doughy, almost impenetrable sheets.

If you appreciate edible food, you might want to give this a miss.
