Pizza was excellent! The cheese pizza was so tasty and had the perfect amount of cheese. When you pickup a piece, it appears that the cheese is going to fall off but it doesn’t! It holds true even when the bread folds over! I loved the crust ratio as well. Not thick but actually a thing soft crust pizza and the actual crust was nice and crispy. This pizza had a ton of flavor!

The side sausage and steak with bread were also both very good! The steak could use some seasoning but other than that, cooked very well and not tough one bit. Sausage, killer! Bread, pillowy soft. Peppers both come with were crisp and juicy and spicy! Perfect addition to the steak and sausage!

The decor is photos of persons that have visited and Boston legends like Larry Bird, the cast of the Sopranos, Rocky Marciano etc. Really awesome vibes inside and you can tell it’s a great local hangout!

10/10 would recommend! Impressed by how impressed I was with a cheese pizza, that’s how you know they do it right.

In my experience close proximity to a major airport means tourist trap. Don’t be fooled. Santarpio’s pre dates modern aviation. Pie recipes handed down from generations. Old school pie making. Fresh ingredients, home made dough, all cooked to perfection. Sausage garlic pie wouldn’t normally be my order. But it came recommended and didn’t disappoint. Will be back to try other menu items.

As a born-and-raised Southerner, I thought I knew good pizza until my husband took me to Santarpio’s in Boston. He’s been talking about this place for years, and now I completely understand why. The crust has that perfect char and the sauce is incredible. The lamb is amazing!

This was my third visit, and it’s officially become a must-stop every time we’re in town. It’s old-school, no-frills, and absolutely delicious. It’s the kind of pizza that ruins you for anywhere else. We may live far away, but this place has my heart (and my appetite)!

I have been to 48 states and 13 countries over a few continents… when I tell you this is some of the best pizza I’ve ever had, I feel like it is both an understatement and my outer fat kid showing. This rivals John’s of Bleeker St in NYC. You’ll have to eat the first slice with a knife and fork, because it melts on the pie pan as much as in your mouth. The crust is delicate but has a hard crunch, the veggies on top are fresh and crisp, and the sauce makes itself known without overpowering the cheese and toppings. I will be coming back, every trip to Boston.

We were seated immediately, even though the place was packed with the late lunch rush, had our sausage in under 15 minutes, and a steaming fresh pie in under 25. The beer is cold, the pizza is delicious, and you’ll be treated like a local the entire time.

Been going here a long time but haven’t been back in a couple years. We got a pizza with hot peppers and it just didn’t hit like it used to. It honestly was pretty mediocre and not the Santarpios I remember. Hoping this was just a one off experience…

The pizza was wonderful! I would recommend getting the Works. Crust has a good chew with crispy edges and a perfect char. The steak tips were good, but slightly under seasoned.

The space is small and if you’re sitting on the bar at a booth near the door you’re going to be cold the time if it’s cold out. The set up of the restaurant sucks.

The waitstaff and bartender were nice and attentive.

We sat at the bar because there were no open tables. We only ordered a pizza. The pizza itself was good. Nice chew to the crust, and a good char. It was enjoyable. Toppings are placed under the cheese which I don’t prefer, but I’m from the Midwest. I also wish the crust was seasons or buttered in some way. I got a side of sauce and I enjoyed the pizza sauce they use. It’s not homemade though. You can tell

The pizza is satisfactory. The barbecue option is highly recommended, as it is exceptionally flavorful.

One of the last old school restaurants in the city. Not only is the food(pizza, steak tips, sausage) worth the trip but so is the history and atmosphere. Can’t say you’re a Bostononian unless you’ve eaten ere.
