This place and the patio was so lovely! The atmosphere was great and so enjoyable- felt like a restaurant in Europe! The food was incredible as well- we ordered the salmon and the filet. Everything was cooked perfectly. My husband’s favorite thing was kid’s Mac and cheese you know it was good!!! But all the food was absolutely delicious. And the service was phenomenal. Will be one of our favorite places to return to! We came on a Wednesday evening and had no wait. The inside area is also very lovely but sitting outside on a breeze evening was so great!!

If you’re anywhere in the Pinehurst area, I would advise you to come here ironwood Café, and have lunch or dinner. They have plenty of indoor seating, but they also have some outdoor seating as well. It looks like they grow their own herbs on site the food is wonderful. The drinks are delicious and the service is Top Shelf

I had the Cuban sandwich which was tasty, but not a true Cuban. Nonetheless, it was good. The service was phenomenal. Our server Wendy handled our table of 16 like a pro. The atmosphere of the restaurant was top notch both inside and out. We all had fun!

The service was soooo incredibly slow. The waitress took anywhere from 20-40 minutes per single request, and never checked in to make sure the food was ok. Our entire dinner service was over 3 hours. If I have a dinner reservation at 7 I don’t expect to be receiving my entree at 8:45.

This was our first time at Ironwood Cafe. We sat outside where we could see the beautiful flowers. Some tables had little fans to keep the flies away. I had the porterhouse pork and my husband had the spring pasta. We split a house salad, which was generous enough to share. Our meal came with complimentary focaccia and seasoned olive oil. The collard greens were exceptional! We each had one adult beverage & our bill was under $100, unheard of for this type of meal. My only complaint was they were stingy with refilling the water.

We stopped here during their brunch hours. We started off with their deviled eggs. In my opinion they lacked seasoning, but were okay. We ordered the Fried Tomato Cobb Salad and the Chicken & Waffles, along with a mimosa and bloody Mary.
I did not like the bloody Mary and sent it back. It tasted mostly of tomato juice and had very little seasoning. The mimosa was okay. The Cobb salad was very very good. It’s definitely in my top 5 of favorite Cobb salads yet. The chicken & waffles were underwhelming and the red velvet waffles were definitely red but not very much like red velvet cake.
Service was excellent. We did not have reservations and we were seated quickly. The outdoors dining area was very nice, even on a day with temps in the 90s. We’d stop here again if we find ourselves in the area again.

The ambiance and service is great, but the food is extremely mediocre. $18 for avocado toast that was dark green, and poorly made is no excuse for a restaurant that claims as fine dining. They barely had any avocado on the toast. It was dried on. This is not a good place if you value your dollar in terms of food quality. Nutella crepe was hard and chewy. Crepes are suppose to be light and airy. So much sugary berry jelly as well on it that over powered its flavor. See the pictures below. The only saving grace was the Hevueo Rancheros. It tasted well. What I would like to say to the chefs in the kitchen is, do better. For the amount of money you’re charging for things that are low food cost, the taste needs to be there as well. These prices are for tier 1 cities without the quality to back it.

The food was amazing, steak you could cut through like butter and every bite just as flavorful as the first. Our server was great I think his name was James, a young guy. We had outdoor seating and it was so private and relaxing. We will definitely be going back and if you haven’t been make your next dinner reservations here!

We went for a Christmas dinner with friends, it was really nice and there were no complaints, plenty of parking and it was easy to find. Bathrooms were clean, and so was the restaurant. Staff was quick and polite. The southern egg rolls are to die for. You definitely have to try those. I recommend this place for dinner.
