As soon as I walked in, I was hit by an unpleasant odor that lingered in the air, reminiscent of old, musty carpet. The atmosphere felt uninviting, amplified by the waitstaff chatting loudly about their weekend plans, creating a disruptive environment rather than a welcoming one.
When the bread was served, I was disappointed to find it dry and cold, bearing the unmistakable signs of being old and stale. It lacked any freshness or warmth, making it almost inedible.
Then came the seafood boil bags, which turned out to be even worse. The sauce was overwhelmingly garlicky, drowning out other flavors, and the shrimp were watery. They seemed so small that they could have been mistaken for something suitable for infants. I was shocked to see a $17 upcharge for a few measly small crab legs—just three or four legs at best—which felt like a blatant rip-off.
This disappointing meal cost me over $100.00, a staggering amount that certainly did not reflect the quality of food or service I received. To make matters worse, I ended up with an upset stomach that lingered for two days afterward, leaving me feeling utterly regretful about the whole experience.
I can honestly say that after this visit, I have zero desire to revisit Red Lobster.
