UTK at Bangalore Forum Mall is a great place for Telugu food lovers.
The taste feels very homely and authentic. We tried their meals and a few starters, and everything was fresh and well-cooked. Portion size is good and pricing is reasonable for a mall restaurant.

Service was quick and staff were polite. The ambience is clean and comfortable, perfect for family outings or casual dining. Overall, a satisfying experience. Will definitely visit again when craving proper Telugu food!

Visited UTK Restaurant at Forum Mall, Kanakapura Road and loved the vibe!
The place has modern, elegant interiors and a comfortable dine-in setup – perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends.
We tried the Andhra Meals and it truly brought out the authentic flavours of Andhra cuisine. Loved that they included Ragi Sangati – such a wholesome and traditional touch. The meals were flavourful, spicy (just right), and super satisfying.
For starters, we had Mushroom 77 and Paneer Tikka – both were spicy, lip-smacking, and well cooked.
Mocktails were refreshing and nicely balanced.
Ended with the Malai Sandwich for dessert – simple, sweet, and comforting.
Overall, a great spot if you’re craving authentic Andhra food with a modern ambience.
Definitely worth a visit!

Soup – Paya Shorba came in a small portion which I divided with my father. The flavor was quite nice. Wish they’d given a larger portion.

Starters – mutton pepper fry and apollo fish.
The mutton was extemely tender but the pepper spice had not penetrated the inside of the mutton pieces. So it tasted a little flat after the first bite. The apollo fish could have used a little more salt since the spice was there. The fish pieces were coated and batter fried well.

Main course:
Chicken ulavacharu biryani and veg meals – veg meals were quite extensive with ragi sankatti and sweet Pongal included. The ulavacharu biryani was tasty. Not overly spicy. I cant tell if this is the authentic style since the last time I ate ulavacharu was 6 years ago in Hyderabad. But it was different and tasty compared to the standard biryanis I’ve become used to.

Service: Service is quick. We got served within 5 minutes of ordering. But I had to ask multiple times for refills on some items.

Came here on a Sunday and there was no line despite me being late to my reservation by 20 minutes. There’s usually a long line outside the outlet.

It’s a little noisy but that’s to be expected from an Andhra restaurant anywhere.

Overall not too expensive for what we ordered compared to outlets like Meghna’s where a buryani on Swiggy would be about 800.

The lunch experience was quite memorable, with flavors that truly stood out and made it worth trying. Although we arrived a bit late and experienced some delay in our dishes being served, possibly due to the crowd or the complexity of the dishes, the wait was understandable and did not detract from the overall enjoyment. The pricing, slightly above average because of the mall location, felt reasonable and justified by the quality and ambiance. The rice texture was a little dry, which might not suit everyone’s preference, but it was perfectly complemented by the juicy, well-blended masala that gave the dish a unique and rich taste. This contrast between the dry rice and the flavorful masala created a delightful balance that enhanced the overall dish. Along with the excellent hospitality and great service, this made the dining experience thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore distinctive and satisfying flavors.
